  1. Man this is outstanding. You guys really have done something special here. Boy does this baby turn. You guys should be more than proud of what you have done with this jet. Um weapons, I think we have enough to choose from here... don't know where to start he he, will keep my busy for a while. I think when these forums and others about DCS get the Nugget what module should I get to try out, or I want a trainer, we have a winner here. A person could really do well with the Skyhawk to get going.
  2. Hey Guys hope it is ok to jump into the thread here. Very new to the Huey and trying to learn FM Nav (wll all Nav). I was having a problem in my own missions with the FM beacon so I trine Vannipo mission from above. No problem at all, jump into the Huey, flip to Home, dial in freq. Opened my mission again and setup checked the setup and it was just like the setup in Vannipo mission. Gave up on that and decided to do the built in Stray Eagle mission. I never get to home on the set FM beacon in this mission either. I have tried setting it on the pad before I leave, I have tried setting in the air on route. Nothing, it never homes. Not sure what else to try.
  3. Fusion360 free for non profit and very nice to use.
  4. Oh boy I started down this road with a stand alone window application. The more you work on it the bigger it gets. There is so so much that can go into this. Good luck.
  5. Checked it out last night and no problems with the Hook.
  6. Not having a problem, but will double check tonight. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  7. Hi Andrew I found the problem. In your BIOS.lua you have the following line... dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[scripts\dcs-bios\lib\AV8BNA.lua]]) If I have this line, DCS will not communicate with the serial monitor. I do not have the Harrier and I assume the other guys having the problem do not either. You are not able to duplicate the error because again I assume you have the Harrier. Removing this line from the BIOS.lua solved my problem. Your version 0.8 works a treat and all my switches so far are working 100%. Once again, without this work from you, DCS would not be the same experience for me. I hope this fix can help somebody else.
  8. Andrew, I really do appreciate you trying to help. I will look at this live view mode and see what happens. Currently my sketches for the Hog, Huey and TF-51 work no problem. Could messing with the default.lua for the joystick cause problems? I recently got a Warthog (never should have spent that money) and if I think back on it, I am sure this is when my problems started. I have a few lines of code in the lua to use the Warthogs buttons in game as proper toggle switches. There is no fancy code in there at all. My TF-51 default.lua file is changed ad that is not causing a problem.
  9. I have a second Arduino (Uno) running some LEDs for Shoot Que and lock. Yeah double checked the file and the line is there. If I go back to an older version of your code, to before 0.6 with the same expot file, your Hornet stuff works like a dream but with a fe glitches which I assume are changes made on ED side. Yeah that one is in there. Also made sure I am latest DCS-BIO but it has not changed for a while.
  10. Hi Andrew I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I had this working great with OB until ver 0.6. This morning I got 0.7, dropped the new files in my scripts folder, double checked my sketch did not need changing and when I am in game, nothing. When I am on a connect serial CMD window, I can press switches no problem and see the output, but when I check the window with the Hornet running, there is no data coming in from DCS. Like I said, this works if I go back to versions before 0.6. My process is to get your new zip, drop the DCS-BIOS folder from your ZIP into my saved games, scripts folder where it overwrites the files with your new ones. Run the connect serial and load game. What do you think I could have missed? edit: a quick screen shot
  11. I don't think the master can be used for anything but being the master. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  12. Not sure if this is correct but did you report IP Inbound? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  13. HI Andrew Are you saying it worked with your new version that you are currently looking at or the current (0.6) release one? Appreciate you doing all of this for us by the way. Without your code, the sim would not be the same to me as the keyboard spoils it big time.
  14. That doesn't seem right. You don't even need to be in AA mode or have the 9X selected. Maybe try a repair otherwise not sure what else you could try. As far as if can see there is no keybind yet. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  15. I know this one was for a good cause but we already have RL Bug pilots on the forum and milling amongst us mere mortals.
  16. Just hit 175 and still feel like a nugget for sure. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  17. This vid is fantastic. I have just not been able to wrap my head around the Master Slave thing and not easy to find all the info you need in one place. Can not believe how simple it is after watching this. Thanks a mill man.
  18. John you are in beast mode man, this is coming along so nicely and looking fantastic.
  19. Its a known bug. You have to rock your wings a bit or set to 80deg sweep to get it going again. Very frustrating.
  20. In the same boat at you OP. Also remember the AI has super vision. They see what you do from anywhere so it does make it harder.
  21. Sorry can't help with the specific error excrpt it sounds like the script is trying to call a control that it can't find. I do however suggest you you an older version. We are not able to get 6 to work at the moment and waiting for feedback. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  22. Ahh great thanks. Looking at doing master slave myself but at the moment 2 megas all I need so just running them both serial.
  23. Not implemented in the Hornet yet, earlier access. Hopefully bacon button ready in the near future. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
  24. Sorry guys, can somebody point me in the right direction for Tekkx's method. I have searched the forums, and some of his stuff on matrixs is going to be a great help, but not finding anything about connecting multiple Arduinos together.
  25. I am on OB. I am not sure what version of the Hornet DCS-BIOS code I am using, can try figure it out when I get home, or just zip up the specific files for you. Only problem I have is some switches have to be flicked up to turn on, and then back down and up again to turn off, so more like a momentary button. I works for now, and hopefully will for you also.
