Distance to Y type takan none functional Interesting one I located last night. When a tanker is set to a Y channel taken, bearing functions but distance does not. Switched it to an X type and it is fine. So far i have confirmed this for cold and hot start.

tires popping on takeoff under max. takeoff weight... (SOLVED)
tea_cypher replied to D4n's topic in AV-8B N/A
When i said rotate i meant rotating the nozzels, flaps to stovl 60° rotate at 150 normally does in most situations, actally 120 is entirely practical alot of the time also -
tires popping on takeoff under max. takeoff weight... (SOLVED)
tea_cypher replied to D4n's topic in AV-8B N/A
you should be able to rotate to take off at 150 with that load out with no problem, are you flaps set to stovl? -
Use the vrest page sto, it will tell you the nozzle rotation and apees for your current loadout

No thanks for your advise, i did look at dcs bios and adrino but as i fly the av8 most its not supportes yet, and i dont have the skills in coding or time to learn, what i like abput u-hid is its relative plug and play, but i will look at the otger things you have mentioned

Hello all after some advice. Iam lokking to but together a basic generic simpit and could do with peoples advice, it will be based around a warthog hotas, a pair of couger mfds, rudder peddals, a basic control panel with the u-hid (https://www.arcadeworlduk.com/products/u-hid-full-featured-version-pcb.html) behind the control, and a old 28" monitor i have that i hope to display dials etc on. I am planning on basing the control panel off the av8 armaments panel with a few etc chucked in. I am also not sure if i should be using helios or ikarus? Your thpughts would be really appreciated

Ok added to script, rebuilt script in your program didn't work. Added to script again and did not rebuild script and it worked. :) Looks like that is a working solution, thanks.- 2261 replies

DCS World TARGET profile for TM Cougar and Warthog + MFDs
tea_cypher replied to Home Fries's topic in Thrustmaster
Hello again Homefries, sorry I keep bothering you, take it as a complement on how much I like and use your software. Just updated to the latest target software version and I am having an issue in my TPM pedals now getting wrapped into your script, which is a bit of a problem as it means I can not use them after I initialise the script. I have the line referring to pedals in your scrips set to 0. As I work around I have found if I unplug them prier to initialising your script then plug them back in it remains stand alone. Thanks again on you work on this script, I and I am sure many others, really on it.- 2261 replies

Ha home fries, just a though for your next update, it would be great if we could set voice channel for srs using the thumb hat of the throttle in a harrier, i believe irl that can select even channel 1 or 2- 2261 replies

Running Open Beta, and as of Fridays update I have had a new bug appear linked to F10 map. Hard to explain in detail, but it comes down to it flickering a lot, sometimes to grey other times just overlays including unit.

I am suffering a severe also, like others its a mission I have been working on for a week, it appears to happen when ever I try and change anything, and I have to restart as it will not allow me to tab out and shut DCS through task manager.
-
Are you sure? I only ask as the hud will now only show critical and lethal threats, so no more awaks or distant enemy

Hello all I am trying to set up a mission where the clients airfield may be captured at which point I want it so they can not spawn there, but I want them to be able to fly until they die. I have tried both the Group Deactivate and Stop command but that removes the client from play instantly, any suggestions of a work around?

Chops you may want to check you INS alignment settings, I saw this as well until I got aligned. This was implemented this week.

Just confirming the scratches seem a lot less now in the Open Beta, also we saw some real nice condensation effects going on at times.
-
Cold/ Hot/ Air start? I have checked cold start and it seems ok.

DCS World TARGET profile for TM Cougar and Warthog + MFDs
tea_cypher replied to Home Fries's topic in Thrustmaster
Morning, still making good use of this program and apart from occasional lag and crashing of the target software it brilliant. Just wondering about a little something regarding the sensor select hat on the av8, the when i press up it seems to cycle between sensor select up and left, am I missing a simething here as it make selecting IMAV mode a little unpredictable.- 2261 replies
