correct as-is Markpoint with HMCS only with VIS- Mode Ordnance
TEOMOOSE replied to das Rindvieh's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
CCRP is going to work with DTOS. Currently WIP. So for now use the hmcs in ccip. Once you got the mark pusht the thing in to ccrp. How hard can it be ? -
MAN – The selected manual program may be dispensed by positioning the CMS forward on the stick, CMS aft turns on ECM - CMS right turns off ECM. SEMI – The aircraft systems determine the program to be dispensed based on the threat. Consent to dispense must be given by positioning the CMS aft on the stick, CMS aft puts ECM to Active and jamming is automatic or CMS right standby. AUTO – The aircraft systems determine the program to be dispensed based on the threat. Countermeasures are dispensed automatically. This mode must also be enabled by positioning the CMS aft on the stick. It may be disabled by selecting CMS right. BYPASS – This is selected to allow manual dispensing of countermeasures when failures prevent the other modes from working. I believe it should be like this.

That's where you create your own hts table, under list - 0 - HTS. It's blank xxxx by default. Enter the 3 digit codes ad press enter. A man profile show up o the HAD page under control. Simply uncheck other classes you don't need and select man, which iirc osb 3.

mod issue countermeasures bypass mode not working
TEOMOOSE replied to huppel's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Hey, I haven't tried bypass yet. But I noticed in cmds semi pressing cms left will release 1chaf & 1flare. -
Since position 2 completely silence both radar and hts meaning it's off, you can't use them while you are jamming. This probably a good way to passively jamming an area while the strike package doing the mission.
-
Well It depends on your mission and the type of threat you are encountering. There is some explanation above in this thread.

I'm using the overrides only and I haven't noticed a bug with what you have described. Ill make some testing. Notice when you are in one of the override modes, either aa or acm the hsd disappear. The F16 has it's unique function which let's you save different pages on your mfd in different masters modes. When will get the mission planning addon for DTC that will let you do that including radio presets, cms profiles etc. So for now it's all manually inputted. For example, I always make sure to go through between master modes and setup the pages I need for the mission. The HSD in all air to air modes, tgp, had, etc. Hope this helps

reported DTT swap, F-16 manual page 144 incorret
TEOMOOSE replied to Rongor's topic in Bugs and Problems
Just adding to what you wrote above. It's TMS right in all fcr modes. It's called stepping or what we refer to is "bug". -
Correct! Anything that making significant maneuvers. Head on collision intercepts are usually fine.
-
Honestly. this might be just a viper thing, and not an actual bug. I was in nav mode without handing over commands to hmcs "TMS up long" and it was working fine. You can than slew the hud mark with the cursor. You could hold TMS up long in NAV mode to give commands to hmcs and it does what you saying but again that would be an incorrect way of using it. Press TMS aft to fix it.

Silenced meaning it's turned off completely, not to be confused with reduced performance. But if you shot a amraam and supporting that missile in position 2, the system will act as position one. So if you are in position 2 and you have not locked by a enemy radar, you can launch a missile, but once you are locked by the enemy radar and ecm start jamming it will automatically act as position 1 since you have a missile in the air. But if you cannot launch a missile before you get locked by enemy radar, your own radar go silenced in position 2, and you have to manually turn it off, with cms right in order to use your own radar to target the bad guys. I think for a2a position 1 would be a better option unless I'm rtb.
-
This is been around since it released. Stop doing it the wrong way. The video is the perfect example of how not to do it. Please read the other post about this subject. Once again it's working as intended. Honestly that video sends a wrong message.

When XMIT is in Position 1 we have Radar Priority. When in Radar Priority and the jammer is transmitting and ownship radar and HARM/HTS performance is reduced by 40%. - > this called SPJ or self protect jamming. To activate SPJ, set CMDS to semi (or auto, not recommended) and press cms aft short. CMS aft will set the system from standby to active and will automatically transmit when you are locked by a radar. Pressing cms forward will launch the selected cmds profile. The system will go back to standby mode, each time a radar had been jammed, and you have to give consent to the jammer to standby mode. When XMIT is in Position 2 we have ECM Priority. When in ECM Priority, the FCR and HARM/HTS are silenced unless an AIM-120 is the active weapon. In this case, it behaves the same as Position 1. - > same as Position 1. Position 3 is an active jamming. Set CMDS to man mode and press cms aft to turn on or cms right turn off. When activated it will turn off the radar "NO RAD" on the hud. amber S - standby mode CMS right green A - active mode CMS aft blue T - transmitting

correct as-is Markpoint with HMCS only with VIS- Mode Ordnance
TEOMOOSE replied to das Rindvieh's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
It may be possible but its not implemented. Markpoints created in VIS can be switched to ccrp at a push of a button on your hotas, by pressing "NWS". Again this is whats working right now. -
fixed internally FCR + HSD = Connection error

I'll watch the track when I'm able to, not at the moment. At the same time we can ask questions to investigate. Perhaps you could answer the question and describe your findings. Thank you. -
