  1. oh, ok... thank you. it's strange because sunlight does not iluminate the cockpit (panels) behind mountains, but the glass still reflects it.
  2. thank you very much, will try it! i have one problem which is sunlight reflecting on the glass even when i'm behind a mountain (at sunset, for example). do you know if it's possible to fix that?
  3. what should you do to that file? make it completely transparent?
  4. hello everyone! i tried searching for something related, but wasn't able to find another topic. is this related to any graphics settings or do we have to live with it?
  5. you probably don't fly that many modules, anyway, guys. just uninstall some for now and you get a lot of space back.
  6. Updated voice messages index - made A-10C II VMU messages audible. can anyone tell me what does this mean? if i'm not going mad, i think i heard betty scream "pull up, pull up" for the first time today... so maybe it's that?
  7. looks awesome, are we getting new clouds in this patch? cannot find any references in the notes.
  8. Hey everyone, In the manual, on the Aircraft Startup Procedures, the first section is called Flight preparation, which includes mostly checks and resets you do before starting up the aircraft. In that section, one of the very first steps is "5. Arm the ejection seat". This got me confused. Don't real world pilots arm their ejection seats just before the takeoff?
  9. hey! i also use VR and i used to move my head a bit forward and down to recenter my view every time i entered the plane. now, i don't need to do that anymore. i have "save view" checked and i adjusted my position with RCTRL+RSHIFT+NUMPAD MINUS, then saved it with RALT+NUMPAD 0. since you don't mention saving it at the end, maybe that's what you're missing out?
  10. you don't have a choice, my friend. it's either the bugged in-game tutorials or the manuals. dcs has been like this forever.
  11. scanning around in zoomed mode really triggers me in VR. i wish there was a way to add some stabilizing to the head movement.
  12. yeah, the in-game tutorials for most modules are like this... they have big inconsistencies that sometimes are even game breaking. i would suggest reading the manuals... even those have inconsistencies because they are not 100% up to date, but i've always found i could adapt more easily in those cases.
  13. at the end of that video, are those flames due to compression stalls?
  14. hi everyone, in VR, i have this issue where lights inside the cockpit that would illuminate everything around them only render in one eye. for example, in the viggen, when the master caution lights start blinking, the red light they project onto other objects is only rendered in the right eye. is this something i have messed up or is it the same for everyone? thanks in advance!
  15. replays are useless. are there plans to fix this?
  16. that's the manual i get from steam? is that not updated for steam customers? omg
  17. how much long until you release the end version of the manual for this module? i've been waiting for so long. it's a half finsihed product for the price of a full release. this is not acceptable.
  18. cool, thank you very much for clearing that up!
  19. nice! does that mean that if some heavy wind strikes, the blades could start turning out of control if they are not tied?
  20. hey everyone, i'm asking this because a topic where i was looking for that answer was locked in another fourm. our huey does not have a rotor brake lever. does that mean it does not have a rotor brake? how does this work on that helicopter? thank in advance!

    rotor brake?

i've seen videos of the new huey mod for x-plane from nimbus and their version has a rotor brake lever. looking at the operator's manual for the aircraft, it doesn't mention a rotor brake lever anywhere and the diagrams do not depict one being present in the cockpit, just like the dcs version. does anyone know what's happening here?
