  1. guys, i need your help... i have 3 screens, 5760x1080. the sim does bezel management nicely, but the angles are wrong. i mean, the lines do not match when going from one screen to another. is there a way for me to specify the angle between the screens, so the sim can better adjust this? hope you can help me. thanks in advance!
  2. yeah! you're right! i did not mean, in any moment, that i'm not happy. black shark is definitely a kick ass sim. i'm just a little bit worried by the fact that some settings can't be on "high" for me... :(
  3. no matter what i set anti-aliasing to, it doesn't affect the framerate. with everything at max, i can set no AA or 16x AA and get the same 20-30fps.
  4. come on, does anyone really think any core 2 quad with 4gb and a 8800 gt with 512mb would not do this game's graphics at max with a decent 60fps? i can run crysis, hawx, cod4, bioshock, assassins creed, prototype with that configuration. ok, i know this is a cpu intensive simulation (maybe the most intensive to date), but the graphics engine appears to be not so well implemented to me.
  5. no, you know what i am talking about. the ones rockstar and ubisoft are using in their latest titles.
  6. some engines already do that.
  7. yeah, get outta here! :D
  8. if you're into arcade, you need only a simple gamepad (like ps2 or xbox). if you're into simulation, then buy a hotas controller and rudder pedals.
  9. man, the guy should have uploaded a video on youtube. this track + wave thing won't work. please can someone record video + sound and upload to youtube? i would like to watch those, but as it stands now, impossible. thanks in advance!
  10. i thought this thread has become a good place to just... BUMP! :D
  11. if you can afford one, i suggest you go with the cougar... http://www.amazon.com/Thrustmaster-Cougar-Flight-Control-System/dp/B000062SSB
  12. First Person View
  13. a command for resetting only rudder pedal trim. i know it does not exist in reality, but neither the reset trim command does, so...
  14. yeah, that's terrible...
  15. i just run into this... single player, free flight, just me on the map. i don't know if this has anything to do with the problem, but i paused 2 or 3 times while watching the track. some time around 10 minutes after the start, it started loosing altitude and crashed over a group of trees (while in reality, i headed back to the airfield and crashed near a lighthouse). then, i replayed it one more time, now with 2x time acceleration. it almost got to the same point as before, but then it crashed over another area. maybe it's not loosing sync (only) while recording, but while replaying. i mean, it's not always the same replay after that point. :(
  16. they are at opposite sides of the switch, aren't they? i have the same question.
  17. this video proves it's correct to use the rudder to turn. look at 03:00.
  18. theodore?
  19. i don't know about the real one, but the maneuvering in the game gets a lot better if you adjust your stick x and y axes curves to be not so sensitive at the center (especially if you have a cougar). also (and you should already know that), trim the aircraft everytime you wish to maintain constant attitude.
  20. man, you took the time to write all that stuff? and why in the hell did i continue to read it past the first item??? have a nice day! EDIT: are you talking serious? i tried it 14 times and it works for me.
  21. thanks! now i get it :D
  22. alright, thanks! english is not my first language, so sometimes i struggle at acronyms like that. i noticed that, in the game, CTRL + Y is associated with "info bar toggle" command. what is it? i can't toggle anything onscreen. thanks!
  23. some people call maneuvers like this 3d flight. but next time i'll leave the last tank in the row to play with. maybe i can do what you said. :smilewink: yeah, i can't do that indefinitely for now. some sites say you should maintain a very steep angle while manuevering. the would add more to the learning curve, i think. it's a windows movie maker effect called watercolor. who's OP? thanks for your replies!
  24. is this right? or what am i doing wrong? thanks in advance!
