i mean, is that the case with black shark? do you really think sound is that expensive to this game? neither sound or graphics are heavily used here. i get around 40 fps in crysis with my box. i know it's a lot different from black shark, but it uses 100 times more graphics and sound effects than black shark. and still, i get 40 fps with everything maxed out. i think real gains would be in sound quality and features. i have a good sound card, but i'll not pay too much attention to this, as a player nor as a developer, 'cause the problem with fps in this game lies in the cpu and gpu coding. those are areas where real gains would be achieved and that's where us (customers) need to focus while buying hardware and them (developers) while coding their engine.

i think if sound options affect your frame rate, then the game has a serious flaw. but black shark has this thing with cpu use and affinity. maybe they should review their engine soon. nowadays, this is unacceptable.

i don't understand why trees can't be like buildings (with respect to visibility and collision detection).

yeah, cpu is a problem with this game.. but try it first, mate!

i think you will loose much of your ability to quickly click 2 or 3 switches in sequence. anyway... that's a nice feature to have. maybe you can put it in our wish list, would you?

this was being discussed in another thread, and you were there, right? there we were talking about the tiny font size on large screens. i agree with enclosing the shortcuts in brackets. it would make it more readable. and i think it's a good idea. those who like to click the switches will continue clicking them. those who want to learn shortcuts, can learn directly in the cockpit. will you share it? thanks in advance!

i didn't tried to change anything, cause the english tooltips are the indexes to the tooltips array in that file (\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\Hint_localizer.lua). i think it could break the tooltip system, 'cause in most systems, array indexes are used to relate different parts of the system.

i like being able to click all of them. also, i find it's easier to memorize something visually.

if i have trackir enabled, then the mouse won't work to look around. otherwise, it works normally.

i used to have a detailed list with me, but memorizing things was difficult. so, as soon as i knew where all the switches were and what they were meant for, i wouldn't need those details anymore. then, i could just go with pvi, uv-26, apu start-up, engines shutdown, etc. engines start-up, for instance, involves checking or activating 15+ switches for each engine, besides monitoring gauges and knowing the waiting times. so, before anything else, know what you are doing. as the manual says, study 'till you feel at home in the cockpit.

also, the phasing effect can be eliminated by pausing the game.
