  1. So I've made a UFC out of an old (hacked) keyboard and I've been attempting to get it to talk to A-10 using HIDMacros. For some reason, the key presses aren't recognized in-game. I can use a text editor and the macros work perfectly with the new controller, and the re-assigned keystrokes can be sent in-game using my main keyboard, but HIDM can't seem to talk to A-10. I know that some people (Mr_Burns) have it working, so I'm hoping they can chime in with some help.
  2. I second this. I see the interface and the PICs, but specifics would be nice.
  3. Wow. Makes me realize what is possible with a little bit of effort. Just one question, does it show up as 2 devices in the SST software? I'm assuming that the switches are programmed through the Command Unit and the Throttles are the Quadrant.
  4. Maybe I'm completely stupid, but when I make the microstick axis 9&10 (in the Control Panel) it disables it since there is an 8 axis limit. I couldn't get this to work at all. Perhaps someone could point out my error.
  5. Um, there's no rtf, or jpg in the 1.0 zip
  6. That mini-keyboard is awesome! I so need one.
  7. I'd like to know as well.
  8. Sorry to pull up an older thread. Damn, beat me to it. I picked up one of those today. $10 and now my nuts are nice and brushed too :)
  9. Google has this carefully hidden feature called "Translate". But I'm sure a graduate student like you possesses initiative and self-reliance. You will have already found it yourself.
  10. Seriously? http://tinyurl.com/cbkmfs
  11. That just means it wants to add a profile for LOMAC. Name it and then you can drag and drop out of the default folder so the profile will auto-load. You have to go to axis commands in order to see the settings for track ir/freetrack. Check to see if you have a key set for "activate track ir" (or something like it) it's possible you need to turn it on in game. Try rerunning the fixer (doublecheck the location). If it worked in A10, it should be fine in LOMAC
  12. Great video. Thanks for sharing
  13. Can those be shipped to Canada? I'm not sure how the restricted export thing works.
  14. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the effort.
  15. You'd think that for the price, TM would have thought of that
  16. Yes, if you modify the mechanism. I was referring to a drop-in replacement
  17. If you're going to buy the Uber, you might as well pre-order the Warthog instead. Incidentally, it's not finding good pots that are the problem. It's finding good ones that fit the cougar. The CTS pots are tiny.
  18. Good heads-up. Thanks for the info. I want to get a Cougar joystick handle PCB from them. (Unless someone here has one they don't need :))
  19. pappavis, if you're looking for lots of SOIC expertise, you could also try viperpits.org
  20. Cool. That is great work.
  21. Instead of searching for PTFE sheet, why not just cut the centre out of a Wilton cookie sheet? It's not 5mil, but it might work. Great looking project BTW
  22. Bu!! &h!t. I built my FT for Black Shark, and I find it hard to believe that TIR is any more consistent or accurate. This is in spite of what the undercover Natural Point employees would have you believe. :)
  23. I downloaded the install files when BS was first released and burned them to a DVD. They worked perfectly, but whenever I reinstall the installer is verified. Is there a way to disable that check? It takes forever to complete, and I'm impatient. :)
  24. It's M36x2. They did use the metric threads.
