  1. I cannot even stay online today.
  2. You have to give each renamed command a unique name. They cannot have the default name.
  3. I did a proper re-naming instead of a quick test and all bugs are fixed. L-39C file is all good.
  4. Rear seat "RV-5 warning flag" now works correctly. RV-5 altitude pointer works correctly with flight data. RV-5 Index setting does not respond to rear seat adjustment using the mouse-over cockpit knob in DCS. (minimum safe alt adjustment) HSI needles and pointers are now working correctly with flight data. HSI Command Course pointer does not respond to adjustment using the rear seat mouse-over cockpit knob in DCS. No hurries or worries about anything... just a bug report.
  5. Thanks Micha, Outstanding support! Will look into these when I get a chance.
  6. II think I learned what causes it... I set game avionics mode to Native and it then crashed. The problem now persists for me, even though I am back to Imperial and English cockpit. So yes, I now have the bug, too.
  7. Hello, I read there is a L-39 startup bug after 2.5.6. I am not seeing it. I use Auto Start until my pit is complete (once you fly with a fully working pit, you are done clicking on things...). I just thought I would share in case it could help someone fly until the bug is fixed.
  8. Watch the routing of your cables and wires if getting RF interference sounds. Mine have to be set just so to keep it quiet. It is not from the Jetseat.
  9. Ikarus should have every gauge you need, as long as you show them on an extra monitor. Your exported MFD's from DCS won't change at all. You can't use Helios and Ikarus at the same time. Just give it a try, you'll see the gauges work as soon as you install Ikarus.
  10. Ikarus is a pretty easy install. When you open the A-10 profile, it will cover your main screen; Alt F4 will turn that off, then enter your desktop coordinates and display monitor resolution, you will see it on the Configuration screen. Save the A-10 profile, exit and restart Ikarus Click "Editor Mode" and you can then drag and drop gauges into position you want. Save profile again when done. You can hide and "show cockpit" to see the edit's you make. You have to enter size in pixel's. That should get you started, note any gauges not working and it is usually fixable by editing "Instrumentations" for that gauge. When you finally complete your profile, make a copy and give it a unique name to save as a backup. You will always use the default name for A-10C to match the included xml file.
  11. Hi Les, Feel free to PM me if you run into any oddities. Ikarus is worth taking a look at. I love Helios too, but I am glad I found this. Cary
  12. Sorry for old post reply, I spent some time with this again and re-discovered that when using the Realtek sound output, I have to select a "room' environment within the Realtek setup to get proper separation of the headphone and speaker streams. Other choices here and even "disable all sound effects" will stop SRS or TS, or whatever from streaming separately through the headphones, even though it is setup and working correctly. Took a lot of experimenting to pin it down again. 'Shame my memory is gone as I remember the same problem in the past.
  13. No two different programs that do the same thing. You would use one or the other.
  14. Thanks very much, Micha. I now understand about the file re-naming and it works just as you say. Apologies for not catching on earlier. I have looked at every single L-39 gauge and your only two bugs are: Instrument Instance 2, the HSI(RMI) instrumentaions, when using rear seat exports, are not synced with the packets received correctly. Pointers are mirrored and the heading scale is off 270 or so. This gauge functions correctly when using front seat exports and the DCS rear seat gauges are correct when Ikarus is not. Instrument Instance 8, Radar Altimeter RV-5, Instrumentation Name "RV-5 warning flag" does not work correctly when using the rear seat 401 export. This Instrumentation works correctly when using the front seat export (62). The engine RPM compressor and fan needle export numbers are reversed (84,85). I fixed this easily, but the other two bugs are on your side as far as I can see. Just a bug report of the L-39C profile. No worries about anything.
  15. Here is an old picture of my Ikarus gauges. They are on a 27" monitor under the cockpit facia. Once you learn the quirk's, I like Ikarus much more than Helios.
  16. Two weeks Zbot. ;) Is the only way to create a xml file is to create a profile from scratch? I could do that, but it would take a while. I have two versions working; L39C-RED, L39C-BLUE, for metric and imperial gauges.
  17. Thanks for keeping up with this, Micha. Here is what I have found: Please note I use only the gauges and digital readout's from Ikarus for my cockpit. L39C-RED.ikarus profile all works correctly, including the engine RPM gauge. The LW Trim gauge works with "-1.0,1.0" and "-50.0,50.0" for in and out. There is no "L39C-RED.xml" file. The L39C.ikarus and L39C.xml files are apparently corrupted as the RPM gauge will not work correctly until I delete all traces of these files. The missing xml files mean my profile does not refresh properly when exiting DCS and I must stop and re-start Ikarus for my gauges. I fixed this by renaming the L39C files and that then re-corrupted my L39C-RED.ikarus profile (fixing all error calls in the Log page caused my good profile RPM gauge to stop working.). I am starting over again once more with an original L39C-RED.ikarus and I will live with re-starting Ikarus. You may want to look into the files included in the Ikarus zip. I will be happy to send my finished L39C-RED profile when working again.
  18. Make sure depth of field is turned off. Check visible range setting.
  19. Hello, https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 All covered in above thread. The multi function codes are more towards the end. Best of luck to you on your build.
  20. Can disregard my last issue for now.. Found latest version and re-building my profile with working RPM gauge.
  21. Hello, Can you verify proper operation of the L-39C RPM gauge? An input of "1.0" and output of "110" is making the gauge needles move only 40% or so. Gauge(s) "Instance 6" in Ikarus L-39C profile. Everything else working fine. I was able to make the work-around Luftwaffe trim gauge work perfectly with edits.
  22. Biggest threat to HOTAS are small children. You will be fine.
  23. I agree. The L-39 has always started to climb when banking.
  24. Hello, All your answer's are in here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 Get general concept from early posts, then read the later ones for your problem. Someone may have already edited a file that will help.
