  1. I can remember when this same argument was about 4 megs of RAM.
  2. Same thing happens when using SRS and it is quite annoying. Very interested in finding a fix for it.
  3. I really enjoy seeing the different building styles and idea's. Thanks for the pics!
  4. Hardware and Printers, find your hardware, right click, "Game Controller Settings".
  5. I once bought a power supply that had the polarity backwards. Now we are back on topic.
  6. Main panel details are for the whole size in pixels. No, it is not Helios.
  7. yes, look in the details for the gauge and set the size in pixels.
  8. Welcome to the site, Bobetta. Great plane, yes! Don't get your hopes up for bug fixes. Probably considered value non-added work by now.
  9. Ka-50 auto start has been bugged ever since they added a timer to the routine.
  10. I ran into this also... Good point, Andy. I reduced how the poor fit looked by using a background color to hide the mismatched size. Hope it helps.
  11. Thanks BluFinBima, Finally got back online with this computer to answer. When I get time, I'll try working with it and let you know how it goes. Another question: Capt Zeen had great artwork with his modules. Is there any chance of using this gauge artwork for the L-39 when using the generic profile? I know it would be up to him... just a thought.
  12. Hello, Not familiar with that plane at all, but I think the viewports you mention are controlled by DCS and not Ikarus. There are old threads that explain what is happening (I have forgotten it all). good luck.
  13. http://https://www.allelectronics.com/ Great surplus items store.
  14. Yes, it looks like the Harrier is supported... I don't have it to test. Just noticed the release with L-39 fixes. Thanks H-J-P. Hope to test it sometime soon.
  15. the over-written file goes into a backup folder on each update. Just move it back.
  16. Hello BluFinBima, Are the Phidget controllers supported in other modules besides the original A-10 and Ka-50? Just curious. Thanks and good luck with what you are doing.
  17. Hello, It is quite overwhelming when you go shopping at the Arduino site (getting started). It really depends on what you want, but if you keep looking at examples you will see which cards are used. I'm using a Mega clone for a start on my project, which will grow as I learn more about it. good luck to you.
  18. Yes, it appears to be down at the moment.
  19. Example pic of MDF panels.
  20. Black text on white means printer and clear overcoat. Simple and low cost. Do you have any CnC you can use? I engrave 3mm MDF with excellent results (after much trial and error!). I just prefer to work with his rather than plastic.
  21. Hello, Did you copy your Scripts folder to the new install? Everything you had to do for the original setup has to be copied to the new install. Just in case you didn't... :) Good luck.
  22. I noted this code: sprintf(tempString, "%4d", counter); // This will output the tempString to the S7S s7s.print(tempString); I am guessing the two 2-digit strings would be defined in this section... Thanks for any advice... just trying to learn at this time.
  23. Hello, I came across this a while ago and thought it would be good for the RSBN control panel in my pit. https://www.allelectronics.com/item/sda-20/4-digit-7-segment-serial-display/1.html I was worried as they showed no documentation, but a search found excellent documentation here: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/using-the-serial-7-segment-display/introduction?_ga=2.256199243.1780542026.1558745994-1561300509.1558745994 I tried a UART serial connection and to my surprise, got it working with the supplied code. I have a neighbor that can help me with any difficult code, but I am trying to learn what I can before then. My question is: Will I be able to define (two) two digit displays for my RSBN Nav and Landing channels? Here is a photo of the panel. Please forgive the terrible picture... Not sure of how to do code snippets.... will be back if I get it.
  24. Helios had support for Phidget controller cards, not sure if it still does. Ikarus wants you to use Arcaze controller cards, hard to get here in the US. Non issue if you go with Arduinos and DCS-BIOS along with the gauges of Ikarus. Ikraus 100% reliable, Helios, not so much. (not sure f it has changed). Helios had a much better editor. I saw better overall performance with Ikarus and I will contribute to it when I finish the pit.
