  1. Did you build a throttle axis, Bad_CrC? (bonjour mon ami!) When I asked about building a controller for flight control, general thinking was the Aurduino did not poll fast enough (or something like that) and it was not best for analog axis'. Maybe it is OK for a throttle axis. Just chippin' in,
  2. Hello, Do you trim your aircraft? Very important. Best wishes.
  3. No one can help if you say small and large. Size in pixels matter for editing files. I no longer remember what files to edit, but I'll just do a search when the time comes. Dburne has the easiest fix, though.
  4. Hello, I found this old post on how to move it. I think it still works. here
  5. The squeaky bearing gets the grease. I know it took months to get the rear canopy bug fixed, even after several posts that showed a repeatable problem and the simple fix for it, even. A proper bug report, with caps in the title has to be submitted and supported by others, which is hard as only a few people fly the 39, and also a polite PM or two is sent until an answer is provided one way or another. I would be posting bugs if I was flying, but life has me month's away from that for now.
  6. Alt F1 is the no-cockpit view. You'll have to edit your MFD positions too to keep them from showing up on the main screen.
  7. It is a global game option. You are set to simulation.
  8. Hello, You just need a relay and you can run a lot of things with an Arduino. A seat with tactile feedback is a must-have item. Get one of those -and- add vibrations wherever you think you want them. I like every surface I touch in the pit to be vibrating in some way. Bass shaker's can also help.
  9. Hello. "Other" screens are exported from DCS, usually. Do those numbers match anything else in the cockpit? It would mean the Export ID is mixed up.
  10. Try asking in the video forum. Might have better luck. https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=88
  11. Hello, Double check your game profile names. There are game modes and sim modes in DCS. Be sure to select the correct one.
  12. Hello, It depends on the type of serial connection you choose to use. There are great examples at the Arduino site. I've seen one specifically about what you ask, so try a search.
  13. DCS_BIOS used to have a "Programs" folder. I created one and put socat in it and all worked fine for me after that. I've been away from it for too long and it is not on this system.
  14. Actually, it is the point. If the mainpanel file gets updated, the module for DCS_BIOS needs an update. Some do it themselves, but as BlackLibrary says, he updates in a timely manner and I can attest to it. You would then use the new downloaded library files.
  15. Hello, Great work on everything! I am seeing your photo's as inverted.
  16. Hello, Are potentiometer's seen as HID devices when used with Arduino? Curious as some source of calibration can be important.
  17. Don't know about the Jetseat, but my TFS seat sounds like rattlin' old bones. Cannot fly without one, though.
  18. It's been that way for twenty five years, as far as I can see. No biggie.
  19. Bonjour Guilaume, Find the mainpanel_init.lua file for the F14 and when you get the hang of looking at it, it will show exportable data. You may be pointed to another file for lamps, too. Note format for each and maybe you can create what you are wanting to do. There is a good chance that the DCS_BIOS file is just roughed in and contains incomplete data lines. I am pretty sure you can do what you want. good luck, sorry I can't help more.
  20. Very nice work on your panels. They look so nice that the box should look like an airplane panel (just IMO). Changing the panels is going to become a pain and it is easier and more fun to make another switch box as you go. A simple way to do a breakout is to use ribbon cable and crimp on connectors that splice into the cable. You could run a buss cable with your switch bits and return leads and then splice in as needed (if you run a matrix for switch wiring). You could easily daisy-chain more boxes then. Good luck, :)
  21. I honestly don't know how DCS handles these different resolutions anymore. I believe you want your DCS display to start at 0,0, so I would remove the 25", let Windows set the 48" as #1 and re-add the 25' as #2. Windows can easily run with #2 as the main monitor. I am pretty sure you add the X values together, but your max height will be 2160. Monitor two then starts at X=3840 (if you have it placed to the right. The math all depends on your Windows positioning, which you haven't provided.) Someone else will hopefully help you more if you need it. Good luck.
  22. Congrats, now it gets fun. BlackLibrary spent much time helping me through PM's and it was a great feeling for me to finally see an edit I did show up in control reference html. A few more weeks and I can get building again. Best of luck with your pit.
  23. Hello, These look an aweful lot like flare holes... Have a great day.
  24. I think you have to flash the card, no? Sorry, I have been away from it for too long.
