I'm not sure right now Demon.. I'll have a look next time I open her up. I usually buy the good stuff when I order a system. There is a possibly that one of the two 680s I had was inoperable. I seem to remember something to that effect and I will give the other card a try. If that doesn't do it I am overdue for a new DCS system anyway. :) I'll use this system to run my CnC router and KickR smart trainer.
-
I'm using the proper slot but the system won't post when I put the card in. Looks like I won't be flying again after all (until fixed).

Thanks, I think I am wrong on calling it AGP. Sorry about that. ricktoberfest: It is pretty easy. You just enable it and plug in a HDMI cable. I run three monitors on the Titan and then the fourth for gauges.

Hello, My on board graphics died. I was using it for my fourth "gauges" monitor. I am running a Titan. Can I run an old GTX 680 in my #2 AGP slot as my #2 card to run my gauges? Thanks,

If you did not trim, the L-39 would want to go 400 km/hr. Two L-39s trimmed differently will act differently. You can fine tune your speed with the trimmer. I've flown nothing but the L-39 for a year. I see these things... If you are talking about NTTR, you will get slower speeds due to higher altitudes there. It is realistic. You are almost 2000 feet higher there. Just just trying to help.
-
Hello, Are you trimming the plane? It is very important with the L-39. Best wishes,
-
Hello, Setting the MSA to '0' is a way to manually trigger the alarm for testing. It takes several minutes for the altimeter to start working. After that the RSBN navigation will start working too.

Could someone send me L-39 DCS manual?
JG14_Smil replied to WildBillKelsoe's topic in DCS: L-39 Albatros
Do not judge the L-39 by the English translation manual. -
Hello, Smoke has been disabled on the AO servers (and it is a good thing). It could be why you aren't able to make it work(?)

[REPORTED]Rear seat throttle doesn't respond
JG14_Smil replied to Apache600's topic in Bugs and Problems
No, throttle worked fine in back in my flights a day ago. It'll be interesting to see if we can troubleshoot it. for now, all I have is: Pilot must enter first and then instructor or some odd things can happen. Any chance one of your two axis was reversed? -
Hello, best of luck on your C-101 build. Any chance for exported data for cockpit builders in the future?

Thanks for nothing. Oh, wait, you did move my post to a thread it doesn't belong...

Mission Aircraft List Callsigns
JG14_Smil replied to flyco's topic in Release Version Bugs and Problems (Read only)
If you are referring to MP, players must be in separate flights and cannot be from the same group. AI ATC cannot see them in the same flight, ever. A mission designer can name the planes whatever they like, and yes, it is helpful if they name them as you mention. -
Hi Sobe, Are your main panel PosX and PosY set correctly?
-
Hi, I think you need a background with a hole in it. Try changing the background properties to '-' to see if your viewport shows through, then see about another background if it does.
-
Micha, Just putting this here as I have finally remembered to do a test regarding the PM you sent me. Enjoy your summer vacation. EDITED LATER. I now see no difference in FPS with and without Ikarus, so the changes you made are positive.

L-39 Radio Navigation in the NTTR (how to)
JG14_Smil replied to JG14_Smil's topic in DCS: L-39 Albatros
Have added section on finding QFE on post #8. This post will contain examples and flight plans for radio navigation flight. -
Very simple fix. I should have thought of it sooner. Simply change the DCS IDs In the Instrumentation tab. Switch 84 and 85 around to make needles correct.
-
:) When back from your summer break, I finally noticed that the N1 and N2 needles on the L-39 tachometer are reversed. N1 should be N2, etc.

Hello, I was wondering if I could get an answer on this as it is important for anyone that uses multi monitor. Since the last two updates, the User Interface (UI) can only be displayed when starting at 0,0. Will we ever be able to move the UI to other monitor coordinates again? This is done so it will display on the center Windows desktop monitor. The very same monitor DCS runs on if I choose to run DCS within a window... that is what really confuses me. It can be pretty important to be able to resize and move the UI. Oh, I note F10 map issues are fixed. Thank you.

Is there a way to have visuals and avionics separate?
JG14_Smil replied to speedbird5's topic in Home Cockpits
Which aircraft? Helios can be limiting for a pit builder with some aircraft. Look into Ikarus also. I don't think there is a performance gain by using another computer for gauges... could be wrong. You can run it all with one computer and no troubles. I know nothing about projectors. good luck! -
new project.. the third.. cockpit / cabin Mig 21

Pictures look much better here than FB! Keep it up my friend. -
There used to be, but it has been ruined in the last two 2.1.1 updates. You can still do it but you will still have to turn your head 60 degrees to see chat and such. They really need to fix this. You can still do it in 1.5.7. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=191299 Hopefully, the thread will help you. Oh, BTW, the splash screen stays huge, but the UI pages work correctly.

I got a chuckle out of that one... Wanted to point out that the German WW2 altimeter is missing the outer layer. It shows only the pinwheel for the pressure setting. Very easy to see if you compare with DCS.

Hello, It is in the Mission editor, in the same area you edit waypoint info, under a tab.
