I know this sounds like a stupid question but not to me. I don't want to blow up my beloved DCS. I run the stable version and always have. My friends all run Beta. :mad: So how do I get on Beta? Do I just install it and then it all works, campaigns, aircraft, etc.? When you launch DCS will it update both beta and stable? what about my mods and liveries, will I have to install them again or will they transfer over? this is all very confusing since I just want to play on a few MP servers and they all want beta. grrrrrrr can I go back to stable when I am playing single player? will that screw anything up? It seems to me that a beta version should be for a few people and everyone is on stable, except with this program. Everyone is on beta, except for me :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

they already said they were going to release it as a PDF you just have to wait.

Heat blur said that it will give one weeks notice before releasing. I would just buy it on your next paycheck to make sure you get it.

I see all the work around with the tracks and such but when the baby is screaming, the woman is screaming, the other kids are screaming it would be nice to push a single button, save the game and then save the day! In the end it's a game and it's not life. I don't care about the cheaters because I said only in single player. That's a life choice they make to cheat.

what ever happened to MAC? I thought it was supposed to be out by now? I never heard anything more.

I just linked my checking account to my paypal account and buy it directly from them. I also don't have credit cards because credit cards are the devil! I have never had an issue buying stuff that way and it generates a random number so you can't get your card skimmed.

The only wish I want is the ability to save a game in the middle of a mission. Sometimes real life takes over and I have to end my mission early. I wish in single player mode, not in Multi-player, that you could save your mission and go back into it later.

A-10C. I know it's slow and not a BVR fighter but damn it's got a lot of buttons and blows up stuff really well. I love flying that thing. So much to do.

has this been switch to also work on the stable version yet? I heard it was this week.

might not play it for a while but it's worth giving you the $8 to keep you going. It's the least I can do. I also have 2.0 as well and only half way though it.

One question. When I purchase 3.0 I can still play 2.0? correct? I just want to finish my 2.0 'career'. It's not going to overwrite anything

it seems to me that he is landing in a hurricane, especially at the end. he just almost hovers and then bounces on the deck. I would suspect you could land a SR-71 in that headwind.

OPSEC is really what it's all about. You could easily guess that it's a butt load. Also, don't forget the real question... how many of the N weapons are aboard in the special red room with four locks and three of the locks are combinations and need the captain and xo with two other keys and three others. you have to remember at any second something could happen and that whole carrier battle group needs to go into combat and take over a nation.

Lurker but I did hear about this issue on the MP server I am on *Print screening is forbidden Also what does 750IAS mean and why would you want to dump fuel? I guess for an advantage but does it really help that much? For the 'bubble' would you just set your waypoint to the carrier and then make a circle off of that, not to cross? Yes, still a noob and trying to figure out stuff. I always ask silly noob questions, sorry in advance

Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, it probably has been. So in the first training mission it tells me to start up and then crank up the engines and use Z and X to steer the nose wheel and W to wheel break. W works, Z and X moves the rudder, I can see it moving but the nose gear doesn't move. I looked outside and it looks like it's on a sled or something. It does the same thing on the joystick. Am I supposed to hit another button to get that sled thing off of the front nose gear? Could that be a chalk or something? I just hit afterburners and it does take off but the sled is still on the gear and I can raise it. :helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

also autopilot is your friend. just put it in orbit when you are trying to figure stuff out instead of pausing the game.

take off from the carrier... well, once I push all the magical buttons or cheat. and then do a barrel roll

So I use autopilot a lot when I am flying around in my A-10C trying to figure out MFDs. Does the F-14B have an autopilot? I saw in the last video he is talking about constant input to keep the F-14 straight and level. So no autopilot? Oddly, nothing on google about an autopilot and the F-14B. Yes, it's a noob questions but I am a noob.
