Does anyone know what setting affects the mirror quality?
I have nearly every setting maxed and the game looks fantastic, but the mirrors, especially the rear periscope looks like it's 8 bit.
It used to be:
Use the TPOD to select a target.
Select IRMAV.
Press cage/uncage.
Press SS Forward.
Press TDC Down until the IRMAV gets a lock.
Press Weapon Release.
Something has changed.
Or, I've been doing it wrong all along and they fixed the bug which allowed it.
Did something change in the use of the TPOD with IRMAVs?
I use the TPOD to select a target.
I have the IRMAV selected on the stores page on the left MFD.
I hit cage/uncage and I see the IRMAV seaker on the left MFD.
When I hit SS Forward, nothing happens.
I bought the BS2 expecting the added systems of the BS3. If I would have known the BS3 wasn't going to happen, I probably wouldn't have picked it up. I got it on sale so it doesn't rally matter. I spent more on lunch yesterday than I did buying the BS2.
I'll be getting the Mi-24 on day one.
I used the same stick and I could never successfully refuel. I switched to the T16000M stick and throttle and it was much easier. Making constant, small throttle corrections is the key. I couldn't do that with the 3D Pro.
Using the TPOD, I have been able to ripple fire all 4 MAVS on one ship within about 10 to 12 seconds.
I don't think you can fire all 4 at the same time.
Lock with TPOD.
Press Weapon Cage/Uncage
SS Forward
TDC Down (Depress)
Fire MAV
Press Weapon Cage/Uncage
SS Forward
TDC Down (Depress)
Fire MAV
The only limitation is how fast you can go through the sequence.
Last night, I was trying out the Dora. When I was around 8KM, the Variometer (Vertical Speed Indicator) stopped functioning and settled at 0 despite obviously climbing. I started to descend and it began functioning again. Is this normal?
On the roadmap, there is a MiG-21 update on progress for 2020 (more like 2021). Maybe they are focusing on the update instead of fixing something that will be irrelevant?
Why would that be a bug? Isn't that your actual altitude when over a an object? If you were in a hover, wouldn't you want to know how far you can descend before you collide with an obstruction? That is working as intended.
Has anyone else come across an issue where you mark targets for you JDAMS on the F10 map but when you go to load the targets from the knee board, you load other targets set by another Harrier or F-18?
What is DCS World Early Access?
Early Access is an option for you to play this module in an early state, but it will be incomplete with bugs.
No one forced you to buy a module still in development. Just say'n.
