I am new to the Harrier during the free trial. Is not being able to remove chocks with the engine running, intended behavior or a bug? Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

I am currently trying out the F-14 during the free play weeks. So far, it seems like and awesome module. I did have some questions about the differences between the A and B. Is there a comprehensive list of the differences between the A and B, besides the big difference of engine type? Thanks! Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

I actually only got back into flight simming because of VR. Once I started flying real aircraft, the flat screen felt awful and I stopped flying on a computer.) It was only when I got an Oculus Rift CV1, I stumbled upon DCS (I think my wallet wishes I never found DCS though.) I remember firing up the aircraft and having holy crap moment about how much better it was than a monitor, even on the CV1. I have since upgraded to a Rift S, and it is much better. Still not perfect, especially with a 1070. Shopping for a 3080, but that could be a while. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

I love my PointCtrl. An amazing upgrade to using mouse or touch controllers for switches. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

Mission 6 won’t advance after suicide bombers show up
PhoenixRising replied to airjocky2's topic in UH-1H Argo Campaign
Has this been fixed? I just tried to play this mission, and the mission does not advance after the attack starts. I am currently running stable. -
Wow! You go it's found some great stuff there. Thanks! Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

Does anybody know of a resource with the dimensions of the throttle quadrant of the Mosquito? I have always dreamed of flying one, and I am kicking around in my head the idea of building one with mostly 3D printed parts. I have built a collective, but I am now looking for a new challenge. I run on a 1070 currently. It is barely adequate for my Rift S. I keep the settings fairly low, and still have the occasional hiccup. But like you, I would rather have poorer graphics in VR than look at a screen. I also do not play MP. My understanding is that tasks it even more. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk

A-10c II Hotas functions Chart for kneeboard

Does anybody know if DMS right long will go to the last mark point manually set or if it will also go to the "Z" point after last weapon release? Thanks! -
Thanks for the info Lex.

Thanks for all of the replies. I actually have a Warthog with the modified push through detent. I was just curious how it was in an actual Hornet. I feel like I have seen conflicting information.
-
I am slightly confused by the behavior of the real life Hornet. If there is no weight on wheels or the hook is not down, is there any detent before going into afterburner? How does a pilot know they have gone j to burner?

I followed Chuck's Guide last night, and it worked for me. I didn't try out the PP mode, but I was able to transfer targets from the TPOD to the JDAMS in TOO mode. I did mess up the first time and forgot to press TDC depress to send the coordinates to the bomb. It took me a few minutes to figure out why the were missing. I am fairly new to the F18, but it is my understanding that you cannot send coordinates from the TPOD to PP mode.

Guide to transfer keybinds from old A-10
PhoenixRising replied to TacticalError's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
The short answer is, I don't think you can assign functions like that from the DCS menu. There was also a whole thread about china hat aft and boresight. Apparently, it is correct as is now. The thread has some workarounds. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums%2Eeagle%2Eru%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D287452&share_tid=287452&share_fid=74365&share_type=t&link_source=app -
I would get on the waiting list now. There is no obligation to buy if you number comes up and you change your mind.
-
Totally agree. I would not want to play without it.

I also have my function keys bound to VoiceAttack. Works well for the rare time I want an external view. (Normally only when I am supersonic in the Hornet and want the flyby with a sonic boom.) [emoji16]

Question regarding the coolie switch logic
PhoenixRising replied to nickos86's topic in DCS: A-10C II Tank Killer
You can disable it if you are willing to use Target. This is the only thing I use Target for. The eight way hats used to drive me nuts. I would much prefer to not use Target, but this has much improved my use of hats on the Warthog. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums%2Eeagle%2Eru%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D73890&share_tid=73890&share_fid=74365&share_type=t&link_source=app -
Thanks for the in depth reply. I was able to try it out today, and it makes a lot more sense now. Whether it is easier or not, I think I need more practice to determine that.
