  1. I thought I saw a post once on how to remove the pesky center detent in the Warthog slider. I use it for the AV8 nozzles and it drives me nuts. Does anyone have experience doing this? Is it difficult?
  2. This is the one I bought. Works great. https://www.shapeways.com/product/3MJPNE2SV/warthog-throttle-spare-part-afterburner-detent
  3. You could also unmap the "thrust levers" from your old throttle. Then there is more chance if conflict.
  4. I have both PointCtrl and Vaicom Pro and highly recommend them both for VR.
  5. I have also used those hats. They are extremely useful.
  6. You can add a joystick stick button as a modifier in DCS. I am away from my computer to give exact instructions. If my memory serves there is a button called modifiers at the bottom of the bindings screen, where you can add your joystick button as a modifier.
  7. I haven't upgraded yet. Does the fact you can change the kneeboard in DCS now mean you have to resize it every flight, as opposed to in the past where you edited one file and you were done?
  8. I am thinking about ordering a set. First, does this look like the correct damper? The only option for shipping on the Ali link is $130 to my address. Needless to say, I will order one elsewhere. https://www.amazon.com/Motorcycle-Adjustable-Universal-Steering-Stabilizer/dp/B075FSSSD9/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=motorcycle%2Bdamper&qid=1613958492&sprefix=motoecycle%2Bdam&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1 Also, I am debating whether I would order the brake dampers. What do they do exactly? I don't know about fighter jets, but I know from flying small aircraft, the pressure gets greater the more you press on the pedal. Is that what this does, or does it so something else? Thanks!
  9. It is currently in stable.
  10. I had this problem last night as well.
  11. I also have that problem. I haven't tried any other Huey missions to see if it is just Argo it a more universal DCS bug.
  12. I used a hacksaw to cut down the silver metal tube that is on the joystick end so it would slide all the way into the tube. I also put the stand further out and angled the joystick in, to get it closer to the ground.
  13. I second Voiceattack. I already use it for Vaicom, so it just assigned the space key to a joystick button press for campaigns and training missions.
  14. There is some play to move them laterally. I just adjusted that arm as far laterally as I could, and it looks like it is a maximum of 2.5 inches or so of adjustment. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  15. This is my WheelStand setup. It works well for me. Monstertech has a similar type mount as well, that I almost bought, but overall I am happy with this. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  16. I bought the pro with the three plates and I also purchased the Warthog stick mount. I think you would find the stick and throttle two close together with the one plate. The great thing about the WheelStand is you can adjust the throttle and stick so they correspond to their locations in VR. So when you reach for the throttle you touch is where you feel it should be by "looking" at it. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  17. Has anybody else got this to work with JTACs? The mission briefing said there would be one, but there was not a frequency listed. Otherwise, it seemed like it worked well. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  18. Blackhawk would be awesome . Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  19. Calibration was a little bit of a pain, but I have not had issues with it once that was done, and you only have to do that once. He has streamlined and improved the calibration procedures as things went along. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  20. I was just saying today that PointCtrl was some of the best money I have spent for flight simming. I hate flying without my finger lasers. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks for the replies. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  22. I have been doing the training missions, and on land, a right hand pattern was demonstrated, but on the Tarawa a left hand pattern was shown. Is there a reason they are different? Is it against SOP to make a left hand pattern on land? Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  23. Did you verify that some other axis didn't accidentally get bound to the nozzle control? Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  24. I ordered a Jetseat a few months ago. It also shipped from Russia. Total travel time ended up being seven weeks. It sat in Moscow for about three weeks and then US customs for three weeks, but it did finally make it. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
  25. Steam is not required to play DCS. It is a way to buy and play DCS. If you buy your modules through the ED directly, they get all of the money instead of Steam taking a cut. Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
