  1. I have some pending purchases including modules and campaigns, so I really expect the sale season!
  2. I think they have released this on Steam recently, if you still interested.
  3. I currently have this module completely stopped as no patch or development since a long time. I would try to navigate it with the NS430 but would be nice to have it fully integrated or at least have the ADF navigation for fun.
  4. Nice one! In my case, I have a big window behind the desk where I play, adjusting the light filter it works when it's cloudy, but when a sunny day I have to close the curtains because even with the maximum light filter on it reflects awfully (as yours)- I think I will try your solution so my plants will thank me and you! Thanks!
  5. An SSD performance depends a lot of the free space you have in it. The more it is filled, the worse is his performance, it's necessary to have always as much free space as we can. So, you may consider to buy a large one. I bought a 2TB SSD for a reduced price last Black Friday, and I have all my games installed on it, it works perfect.
  6. I'm sorry, but I can see the point of this on DCS. First of all, where will we connect our Hardware (I mean our stick, our pedals, our Track IR…?) To a TV? Can see how it will support. To a mobile phone? Nosense. They want to use their own controller, which is completely useless for us. This controller is meant to be connected “directly” to his server in order to reduce the input lag. No way we can do that with our own hardware, so between you move your throttle and the engine responds could pass some time depending on your connection. No way to play a sim like this. I tried to stream locally games like Forza Motorsport 7 from Xbox One to my PC, Assetto Corsa between Pc’s in my network and it doesn’t work properly, yes you can play but there is no precision at all. I tried this with all connected by cable, so I can’t see how google will do on the cloud on a, let’s say 100Mbps fiber connection, that I can’t do on my own home at 1Gbps. I only see this for casual players and some kind of genres (adventures, RTS…)
  7. All I can say is that the training missions are not so helpful. Great for cold starts, navigation, some weapons, but... It comes to my mind the F/A-18 landing training mission, yes, it explains in some kind the procedure but I had to go to Youtube and also this community to realize what I was doing wrong and how could I land properly. The same for multiple systems that are not covered in the training missions, and you want to practice what have you studied from the manuals. If you fly the A-10C, I think there are two good training campaigns based on the real ones. There is also an amazing training campaign for the L-39C Albatross, which I flown but never completed. You can try also to edit some missions on the editor removing some enemies, and this kind of things. I think the editor is where you really train all the theory.
  8. No, Gran Turismo has never been a sim (maybe its last iteration it's a bit closer to that word...), PC had always the true sim racers, from GTR, F1 Challenge, Live for Speed, NASCAR papyrus series, rFactor,...) So, as for the question I hope not. It doesn't matter that PS4/5 supports keyboard, DCS with a keyboard it's unplayable (even if I have managed to land with keyboard). DCS would move away from true sim coming to PS IMO.
  9. I'm actually playing this campaign with no issues at all.
  10. Training missions of the L-39 (not the Kursant Campaign) are indeed in full Russian and I feel there are completely immersive, even if I need to read every text.
  11. Definitely yes!
  12. As it's still on "Early Access" status, it should mean that they will finish some day.
  13. This looks awesome! Really nice
  14. I've been waiting the Yak-52 to be on sale and I finally purchased it. I hope they fix and implement the ADF navigation. Another option would be to integrate the NS430 like in the L-39C (not just the overlay mode). That will improve a lot this module, as I only current take off, navigate and land in VFR. I would love to do some bad conditions or night navigation with this plane. I know the F/A-18 and other modules has alot more attention but please continue supporting this one. Regards
  15. I don't have an iOS device, is there any other way to try it?
  16. I'm flying in DCS since 2 or 3 months ago. Previously I've been flying Flamming Cliffs 2 for a year or so. I've started DCS with the SU-25T because I knew from FC2 and because it's free obviously. But quickly I moved to the L39C because I lacked some basic concepts, and I'm learnig a lot with this thing while getting tons of fun. Pure instrumental navigation, no autopilot and autotrim, instrumental approach and landing, landing patterns... I feel that it's so rewarding flying this module, and it's really quick to study and get used to it. Also I started the "Kursant" campaign and I really feel that I'm on the flight academy of the L-39c. It's quite challenging and fun. Also the basic training missions are nicely done. I started to study and fly the F/A-18 as well and I feel that I'm not ready for it just yet, even if I can ramp up, take off and land it more or less with success, I definitely will put more flight hours to the L-39c before moving on. I totally recommend it.
  17. Thank you so much, didn't realized that. I'm going to buy then sooner than later. Thanks again.
  18. Will this module be included in the Steam version? I'm learning a lot with the L-39c but I've found that in NTTR there is no RSBN or any way to navigate; I'm considering to purchase the NS430 but as far I can see there is only the popup version in Steam and there is no integration with the L-39c. Before anyone asks or comment, I prefer to play everything under the Steam layer instead of the standalone version.
