Yeah The starting late wasn't an issue, it's going to happen when you get a lot of people on the same server. Issues will come up that the host can't plan for. My one thought would be, next time announce the teams a week ahead so they may plan, fly and train together.

Sorry guys, TS was cutting in and out so I was by myself. In the valley short of bull's I got spiked by an Eagle went evasive,broke lock and in my haste to turn and lock him I flew right into the mountain side! Rookie mistake DOOH!. Thanks Ravens for putting this together I had fun even if it was short for me! S!

Don't have SR..I guess I can look into getting it,TS would be better IMO.

After lots of cussing,loading the latest AMD drivers and tweaking my system(turning down everything) and I'm able to get 25 to 30 FPS in 1.5.6 with the FC3 A/C. About 20 on the clickpits in VR..so its better. It looks to me like the guys saying it runs good all have 32 gig ram, double what I have. I guess I need to upgrade that. But its flyable..no eye candy.. but it works.

Mine are.

I run A FX 8320 8 core,16 gig ddr4 ram with a XFX rx480 8 gig 250 ssd and a vive. My VR in 1.5.6 is about 25 to 30 sometimes dipping as low as 10 over cities or more than 5 A/C! It runs ok but is jerky as you look around. I've tried different settings and even OC my GPU..same thing. 2.0.5 is much better 45 to 55 FPS and smooth. I don't think a reload will help. I think its the way the older game engine treats VR. If you do reinstall and it works let us know!

Wolf,I feel your pain.. I do like you everything off ..no MSSA and PD at 1.3. Vive will flash at times but only for a second or two. Its laggy if you turn your head at all. I can fly it as is but its not good. 2.05 is better. I was hoping it would improve a little more with the update. My rig.. I didn't know they would show up at all! Well I just found out last night the F radio menu is clickable in VR so I may be behind the curve a little. I would think it would be more clunky using them than just a mouse to click a switch.

I get it too, in 1.5.5 with the Vive. It seems to me that if my FPS drop lower than 10 it happens. 2.0.5 is smooth at about 45 to 60 FPS.

Once you go VR, You will not go back to a 2D screen or start a game that isn't VR. I got my Vive over a month ago and have yet to run ROF, BOS CLOD or '46. I just stay with DCS for the VR. Its that good.

That part I can't tell you Jocman, I'm not sure that V1 to V2 will change your cockpit. I know a few keys may have changed along the way. The SSD will make it better for loading and all. That's about all I know.

Me too! I saw the toe brakes but missed the nose wheel part, no wonder I couldn't turn it. I went back to the old WW2 ways, pull the lever on the stick and push the rudder. I'll have to try this again.

Thanks, I thought it was like the kneeboard, you can't see it with NVG's (even turned to low). No big deal to turn off the NVG's to check it. Thanks again for the mod!

See..without NVG.. And with NVG I don't know if it can be changed, its not a big deal to turn off NVG for a second to check the card though. Just figured i'd ask.

Yeah Bad, after using it with the mission we flew I can say its worth adding it to the must have mods for our VR pilots, or anyone who wants it. @ Nero the repository is our squads ovGME list of mods we use. We can keep it up to date if a mod has been updated so everyone is current on the mods. oh one thing Nero the card acts as its lit up when flying at night, bad for NVG,is there a way to turn it down so you could read it with NVG's on?
