SPOILER MISSION 5 Damn, that silence after the announcement of "no chutes" is deafening. I must admit, that gave me the shivers, even so, it is just a game, in this case it simulates the "real world" for me very well. The return to the ship was in dead silence. Being 30+ years in service I know that "playing war" might be fun, the real thing isn't. Thank you for bringing this part also into the great campaign. On a side note: There were some Hornets on one of the assault ships...are they supposed to be there ?

Got a question. I got no marshal info nor carrier com whatsoever for mission 3 and 4,which should be case 3 if I'm not mistaken. Do I do something wrong or would that be normal. Comms worked fine for mission 1 and 2. Anyhow, had a lot of fun until now thank you for the Campaign.

Is there a way to use generic settings for mods? Got the Hercules mod and get a error message from the system. Could you do some programming magic that SSA default to a generic profile if an unknown aircraft aka mod is selected Thanks for your considerations

What I did: I speak German as well. For the setup of Vaicom I switched the language settings of my computer to English and I started to train the speech recognition and vaicom. Depending on the way your English is spoken I would recommend trying US or British English, for me US works better. After quite some training and some workarounds (entering aliases to vaicom from what the speech recognition understands (sometimes quite some gibberish)) I'm mostly set. I had no joy with a lot of airports / ATC names. Trying to pronounce French or Arabic names in English as a non-native speaker results in certain fail. With the training done I switched my computers language back to German. Works now, in the ability of the speech recognition software and my language skills OK.

I don't understand you. I got the vkb F-14 stick and I have to press the button to move into gun. All set.... Guess virpil should be the same. Nope, one has to go to some training first. Ever so often there is a "open for all 'cruise night' where one can participate regardless of training status. Basic training is actually done pretty fast if you aren't a lazy bastard like myself :dunno: F-14 guys have the benefits to join a full qualified Pilot during cruise as a RIO Try it and you will like it.

Did just a brief test....starting 20+k....full Afterburner... 2 Bags 3x7 in the Tunnels and 2x9. Plane struggles to break mach 1 and kept below 1,2 before the engines blew up. :dunno:

This!!!! I like how the string behave as soon as the cat has some speed. What looks odd is the tighten string with the cat at cold start or just sitting idle on the tarmac. Could that thing at lest dangle to one side or something? No big deal, but would add to the illusion and make the perfect mod even more perfect ;)

For me the answer would be easy .... 109 all the way. As @Sokol1_br already suggested I would also start in the IL-2 community, witch would lead to different setups for the 109 allone ... which at least on style would fit our K-4 and you would be ready for the E, F and G :music_whistling:

I switched from TM warthog to VKB Gunfighter with 20cm extension and be pretty happy. In the beginning it needs to get used to, but after the transition and (the bad part) setting up all the input options again, there is no going back. Gesendet von meinem LYA-L29 mit Tapatalk
