Here is my old (X-52) Roger Dodger set up. I went from center mounted to side mounted because of comfort. Note: Right now I am in the middle of rebuilding the mount since I acquired the Warthog HOTAS and it requires certain adjustments, such as reinforcement of throttle and stick stand, as well as other structural stability tweaks. On top of that I will be running an extended Warthog as such it will be adjusted per stick extension. I found working with PVC very easy and versatile for my application, I can easily remove the stand into the closet if I ever need to make my computer desk look normal again... not that I ever do it. :music_whistling:

Yeah, just stabbing in the dark sort of thing... -

What about the entire SN, not just the last 4... the sticker on the USB cable (for example mine: 501T108A001617). Perhaps it holds information on production lines/etc. -
Нужно выставлять правильное атмосферное давление которое указывает диспечер при взлете. Если не ошибаюсь кнопки RShift +/-

Understood! Can't wait to place an order!

Metalnwood, one question, I noticed that there is one bolt that tightens the fitting to the pipe, do you think that is going to hold up well in terms of durability... on the picture it looks a little weak (might be the angle).

Same, making such kits would be a good little business. ;)

Inside view of TM HOTAS Warthog
Sov13t replied to Frazer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The white ring on top of the black "cylinder" has holes for the vertical posts, the holes are smaller in diameter, such that the pressure builds up on the white ring when trying to move the stick off center, which causes sticktion/jitter/hesitation. Widening these holes to the same diameter as the black "cylinder" will resolve sticktion, however, in return it will introduce a little bit more (than original) center play. Widening the holes results in force being applied over a much larger area (P=F/A)... we get less pressure... less sticktion. Here is a picture (Frazer, hope you don't mind me using yours): -
68. Accidentally executing Cobra on finals. 69. Fighting outnumbered 2 F-15 to 1 SU-27. (51st survives anyway, but you wouldn't :D)

If you are talking about HOTAS Warthog you can see a pretty good example with a short How-To here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=63585

Gears, Flaps, Air-Brake, Radar, ECM indicators for me... once they are programmable. This is of course for FC2 flying.

Inside view of TM HOTAS Warthog
Sov13t replied to Frazer's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Just purchased 1oz (should be enough right?) of EM-30L as well. Thanks for sharing your findings Vega and Bird! The only time I notice sticktion is when I try to move Y axis after keeping it still for a while... which results in a "bump" feel to get the stick moving and then smooth again. It can get annoying on finals or other precision flying no doubt in that. One question that remains in my mind is what did you use to wash the old grease off? Any solvent? -
Problem with Warthog Throttle
Sov13t replied to Jg2001_Rasputin's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Where are Thrustmaster representatives on this forum? Or, any forum for that matter?? I am running my throttle and stick via a self-powered USB Hub and am hoping that this will keep it from bricking, firmware was upgraded right out of the box (first thing I did). But without any confirmation/acknowledgment from the official reps of TM, things from a public relations perspective are only going to keep getting worse... with threads like this growing. my opinion anyway... -

Здравствуйте, Я интересуюсь авиацией, и хотел бы узнать если ракеты Р-27ЭП1 или Р-27П прошли полный цикл испытаний и были ли они поставлены в ВВС России либо на экспорт? Спасибо, Нил

Reality Vs Playability and the effect in Multiplay
Sov13t replied to OGREMAN's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
GCI directs the crew towards the target area. Once contact has been established the crew is independent. Radio chatter will go something like this: GCI: "Target to the left, higher 5" GCI: "181 turn 090" 181: "Turning 090" GCI: "Target ahead, higher 5" 181: "Contact with target, permission to work" GCI: "181 work" From this point on the crew is completely independent on what missiles and how many it uses. The crew will report the amount of missiles it used upon finishing. For example: 181: "Finished working, used two" Now, one major factor that is left out is the on-board computer advising pilot what maneuvers to perform in order to achieve the best firing solution. For example, the HUD may display to perform a Gorka (climb) or it can advise firing parameters as to which altitude you should be at to fire, as well as exit maneuvers etc. P.S. keep in mind I am directly translating... better English terminology could be used. -

On the contrary, FC2 has quite a few limitations in terms of reproducing such sophisticated scripts like LRM was, and these limitations were put in place due to security concerns. What Case has developed is as close as you are going to get to having restricted payloads without enforcing a non-standard Integrity Check, which in-turn hampers the accessibility of the server significantly. Repeat offenders will be permanently banned and their UIDs will be shared with other server administrators, so think twice.

Any news on the Saitek Rudder Pedals?
Sov13t replied to Avatar72's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The Saitek Pro pedals are really good and comfortable, I would argue that they are more comfortable than the Combat ones due to the heel rest on them.
