how do i use this to latch on to an f18/f14 wingman?

i use the wh throttle with the detent, ive rounded it off so i still get resistance but i can push it through thte gate without having to actually lift it. my settings are set it to slider, 0 curve, 15 deadzone. this is perfect, the stop is 100% mil and it pops straight into ab beyond that. theres also no deadzone at idle so its spot on

my icls rarely works, im pretty sure its all setup properly, sometimes i get the vertical bar but i rarely get the horizontal bar

have you noticed the auto throttle, game crash bug? mine does it and i think i read somebody else has had it too, its recent bug
