Yes ofc, a switch with a guard right underneath the high/low gain -switch. Makes landing so much better. And in CE, the guarded switch is right next to it on the right. -

To minimize issues, I always land with NWS Off and avoid brakes until the second half of the runway. -
It's world scale and can be checked very quickly. I did some testing when I sat in a real Viggen -cockpit and then compared the view in DCS. I changed to different settings and realized that the default setting is closest to reality.

And to rub more salt ( facts ) to the wounds, it's not going to get any better in the future either. More modules are needed for income and to keep the company functioning. Every module they release also means more modules that require upkeep. WWII -modules bring less revenue so they get much less attention. It's very clear that year by year, it's less n less likely to get anything added to these older WWII -modules. No company is ever going to admit something is left to dust because of bad image but actions speak for themselves, there's no way to sugar coat it. The ONLY way to have any chance of faster ( if any ) updates to older, less sold modules, is to hire more faculty. That is expensive and risky and we don't even know if ED is doing that actively or not. Even so, that gives no guarantee of any kind that this new possible workforce would put their efforts in these WW2 -modules or any of the older modules. Don't hate the messenger.

I'm waiting for Winwing DirectDrive -base and their FFB -pedals. Interesting times.

They just recently said that they won't do F-14D so I wouldn't hold my breath. It should be somewhere here on the forums.

Well you can sit down and wait since Polychop has no dev team anymore, we're waiting for any kind of news. If they hire a new team, they need to get familiar with the code and then start working on whatever it is that they have to work on so we are talking x amount of years here.

There's some rattling there before the pov changes. And like mentioned above, get some transducers/bassshakers/buttkickers etc. It really is a must.
-
Those real life examples are older variants with different propellers. That could easily be the difference so better compare the same variants.
-
Oh man do I wish that as well, I want to believe. I hope they'd hire more faculty even tho. it's always expensive.

Which means there's little to none of that dev time dedicated for the Mosquito. It's only natural to feel dissatisfaction and feel like it's abandoned. I bought the moment it came out, it's been gathering dust in the hangar most of the time. Then I had to take a break from games for 2 years, when I get back and check on the mossie, it's the same when I left... Difficult to find positivity in that and why should I anyway. I admit this has changed the way I purchase modules these days but that causality.

ED, we need help as modules have been abandoned by Polychop

So what's the current situation? -

Ouch. Or more like we're effed. -
Cool! WIP from whom?

Someone mentioned before that the Oil cooler shutter control switch and Intercooler shutter control switch are wrong way round. The controls should be in line with each other horizontally but right now, they're crisscrossed. If someone has more information to confirm that would be nice. Same thing can be seen in some pictures and videos of the cockpit like in this one at 09:20. Yes, I know it's a razorback but it should still be the same in other variants as far as I know. I just confirmed that in DCS they are crisscrossed.

If this would AERGES instead of ED, we would get a reply after the first post that it will be available in the next patch. Instead we have to cry n beg this for years.
-
Yea well obviously we compare the planes that we have in DCS especially since they can go head on online.
-
They're actually 13mm hence the name MG131. P-47 loses to K-4 in every situation coz K-4 is just such a good plane.
-
It's actually been about 12 years now so... yeah.

And this cycle is the biggest issue with WW2 -modules and with ED itself . It should be the other way round. This is not charity, business goes both ways. Make a product/s that people will buy, simple. Back in the day this was a no brainer. They decided to cash in on another ground assets -pack for WW2. Instead of making it more tempting, they do the usual and cash in on enthusiasts. Infuriating imo.

No new missiles on the way unfortunately...

I get the point, however, I encourage you to just put the maximum amount available as soon as possible. This is top level "simming" after all so we don't want/need babysitting. A good example comes from the P-51. You can fill all the fuel tanks ( 100% ) which fill the additional rear tank as well. Now the manuals say that you are _not_ allowed to engage in a dogfight while having fuel in the rear tank. How would anyone know? Well it's their business, learn the basics. On top of that, community can help you in different ways. Normandy WW2 -server has set up the rear fuel tanks empty by default, which is a nice touch. 1. Let the players make the choices when something is/was available IRL. 2. IMO DCS shouldn't be designed with only new players in mind but for the enthusiasts. New players won't be new players for long when they start playing and get hooked. Cheers!

That's not related to what you said. "Given that we've heard and seen absolutely nothing on this from the dev for years, I suspect we're years away from seeing this, if indeed we ever do. " >We have heard >It's confirmed by the devs in text and videos >We already have CE, EE and BE which were also promised No one ever gives exact release dates until they're more or less sure that it will be ready for release by that date.

I advise googling or checking the forums for at least a minute before posting misinformation aka C.R.A.P.
