Actually jets on the flight deck are held in place with 6 chains AND both main mounts choked during flight ops and 12 chains double chocked after flight ops.
Also if something has been eliminated through the various lots it would be replaced with the dash. I.E. earlier hornets had lox instead of OBOGS so there was an advisory light for low oxy.
Emergency Jett would be if engine problems on launch and to late to abort take off. Select jett would be after airborne and established straight and level flight but had issues keeping level. you could than (in my opinion) dump ordinance first to try and maintain level flight to work issue but holding on to as much fuel as possible till ready to land.
If left right works the way I undersand sta 2 L PP1 and sta 2 right PP1 will be different co-ordinates so you should be able to load PP1 on all 8 with different locations. Again that is my understanding of it.
Assuming you got the B sequence from pressing step before the first release. The aircraft is still follow the same order over all just finishes up with what would have been first if you hadn't hit step.
Litening pod mounts on the centerline. Every time you do a cat shot the grease accumaltes on the belly. You should see the underside of a drop tank after 14 days. A litening pod would be useless.
