  1. Pre check valve. Used when fueling to check that the system won't over fill. And yes it gets left out if we only want to fill internals
  2. IRL the only part of the UFC that stays lit is the channel numbers in the bottom corners. The rest of the display goes dark after a few seconds of in action.
  3. Dude is a busy man. Also he mentioned in his thread that he's got an update coming.
  4. IRL if the hornet loses power comm 1 will still work but only on the last channel it was on. The UFC will have no display. As for the display on the UFC not working with ground power applied did you turn up the brightness knob on the right side of the UFC? You'd be amazed how many times I've had to ask pilots this at work.
  5. Close as you'd get for now. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=273008
  6. The CLC won't turn on without a harm loaded.
  7. I'd like to see them put out a poll with the features that they want to do. Than go in order that we want the most one feature at a time till it is fully functional before going on to the next. If it takes longer to get it out so be it.
  8. Did I wonder into the f18 forum?
  9. In real life with no hyds just electrical power all the control surfaces should be x'd out even after a fcs reset.
  10. +1
  11. As someone who has final checked god knows how many f18 launches over the last 20 years the ailerons move just fine with stick movement on deck. That is of course if after spreading the wings you remember to lock them.
  12. Sounds like gages made by 2 different contracts in real life being reflected in game.
  13. Well if you want do it the easy way.
  14. Flight controls if I recall will stay x'd out since they won't move without hyds. I can double check later tonight after the flight schedule wraps up.
  15. No engines no hyds. No hyds no flight controls.
  16. That's how the 18 is in real life. There is also a flood light that shines on the gages above the right knee. Those lights stay on with either battery power or ground electrical power. They don't shut off till one of the generators cones in line with the engine. And as foe the light mode switch it works that way too. You can have it in night. Kill power. 5 seconds later out power back in and would still have to cycle from night to day and back to night.
  17. Baby hornet same as Rhino.
  18. The Rhino looks awesome. Just one little thing I noticed at 2:48 you can see the wingtip formation lights from the inboard side. Those lights are only on the outboard side of the panels on the wingtips. Can't wait for this mod.
  19. I've been doing boresight alignments on legacy hornets for 20 yes now. Never used the dot and cross for any part of it.
  20. Forgot about the merger. And moving to hangar 1.
  21. Oops. Yea.
  22. It's a C model. You can tell by the bug eye antennas on top of the turtle back right behind the canopy. on A model those antenna where below the intakes.
  23. Personal preference I guess.....?
