  1. Possibly not JF-17 specific but... When Ground electric is connected and one begins taxi, there is no warning call from crew chief as per usual. Also, and more worryingly, when you fly several miles and land at a different airbase, ground power is still connected... Unless the cable is really long maybe?
  2. So we are now trading off basic/fundamental aspects of modules for more complex? Fair play but...mehh?
  3. Even with nothing running in the background, in windows if you alt-tab it will select between the desktop and the application, once you hit alt-tab once you have selected the desktop but not displayed it in this case, you then press LWin key and it opens start menu where you can access anything else you need to do. I don't see the problem?

    Glad i waited

Congrats man! Yeah it is a bit of a weapon indeed. Alot to learn. Any time i am away from my hornet though for a few days, when i jump back into it, it feels like home lol. It is so technical and capable. Really like them both and the external models are great too
  5. Having gone back to the FC3 aircraft, the mirrors in the Jeff resemble the quality of the mirrors in those modules. Just expecting better between EA and release. Not sure if new API etc. will have an impact on reflection rendering.sky box etc. so prob not worth rushing into fixing just yet anyway lol
  6. Not a re-write, mostly straight forward porting it to new API from what i have seen wuth other sims but alot of bug squashing required before it will hit stable version i reckon. I think it is safe to assume that this year the OB release will have alot more Beta content being tested out. Personally, i am more than fine with that. The prospect of smoothed out jaggies and silky shadows running at 60+ FPS is just too much to deny ;)
  7. They do have a bugs section, Maybe ask a moderator if they can transpose the comments regarding bugs onto a new thread over there to save re-typing them?
  8. To elaborate, i studied the war alot when at secondary school (age 15) and have alot of respect for all the men who fought in the conflict on both sides. I don't have a problem calling it by it's English name or it's Argentine name. Without going into detail i'm not a fan of Margaret Thatcher either...
  9. Yeah, agreed. Not sure about the pilot bods, i only got the mirage recently so haven't experienced it with the pilot body so not missing anything but would be nice to see a harrier pilot soon. I am sure they will come as RB seem to have alot planned for this year/quarter.
  10. Ok so, A - You are still calling Scotland part of the UK at the same time as worrying about the thread becoming too politically heated. We're way past that point already mate! Clearly not from around here (UK) :smilewink:  B - As was mentioned before on several threads, whatever modules they are working on don't really impact the map making as the map guys are a different team/person/persons according to razbam who's job is to make maps for DCS. So i doubt it is beyond the scope of imagination that they may already be looking at another map. C - GR3 would be kind of awesome, though i really like the idea of twin prop like the Pucara in DCS too. After the mozzie of course
  11. Snappy is going off topic and you are taking it further. This thread is not for whinging about razbam. Please cease & desist :)
  12. I flew Korea MP server for half hour couple days back and did not experience it, still have never experienced it. I don't use global illumination though as the big man says so may be worth unchecking that for sure
  13. Yeah an updated cockpit texture and radar/RWR surely wouldn't hurt the bank too much for ED. I imagine the FC3 module shave paid for themselves countless times over by now.
  14. Do not alt-tab during loading screens. If you press Alt+Tab and nothing happens, hit the windows key on your keyboard and it will show the start menu. Once you open, say a web browser window, you can alt-tab freely back and forth. The trick is to have something opened to alt-tab to before running DCS
  15. Curious that you refer to Scotland as part of the UK instead of the politically neutral name of "Scotland" :music_whistling:
  16. Your opinion. Just as well i didn't ask you eh buddy?
  17. Yeah the whole RABAM BAD thing is getting pretty lame now folks. They have explained COUNTLESS times why the unresolved bugs are unresolved and are very clearly communicating on several platforms their current progress and intentions just like any other 3PDev. Let's all take a deep breath and move on. RAZBAM - more maps pronto, make them suckers work for their money :P:P:P
  18. Sweet man thanks for the reply. Eagerly awaiting some more BD Mig missions they are brilliant. I know you got alot on your plate, appreciate all the effort
  19. Thanks for the info :)
  20. Is it likely that RAZBAM, following undoubted success of their Malvinas map, may look at modelling an area of Afghanistan? I can see it making use of alot of their current and future modules and would be extremely popular with the community. Go on, just say yes :music_whistling:
  21. As title, and without disregarding the awesome SP Campaign we got with this module, can we have a spattering of nice Missions for the 19? :) I notice the mirage and harrier each have full missions aswell as instant actions, though the harrier does not have a campaign as yet. Thank you
  22. It's a tough one, i would probably replace the name but keep everything else factually accurate. Mainly because you don't have permission from the family to use the pilot's name i guess? hmm
  23. You may want to contact a well known Czech sim studio and see if their new tech can help as i believe their new upgraded platform does just that. Though you would probably have to trade off alot that makes DCS great in order to implement it...like flying for instance
