From what i have seen from another sim's beta, the largest results come to Ryzen cpus due to their often higher thread count. If your cpu is already bottlenecking your system it will only make things worse for you, if i understand correctly. Though prob going off topic for this thread now

[RESOLVED]can't show different liveries in the Model Viewer

I gotta laugh, and please i mean no offence to anybody posting here already but... I have just came from the new Marianas map thread where people are up in arms about wasted resources and then i come here and see you guys complaining about this stuff needing sorted out? Safe to say the ED team are probably tearing their hairs out with the variety of demands from the community :P :P :P Cool thing is though they will most likely get round to sorting this stuff out now that you have asked anyway, because they seem a decent bunch like that -
Somebody spelled all the place names on your map wrong bro :P

New water/coastal effect with new weather and clouds....gonna need a diet after all this sweetness!

Looking forward to skimming the sea in a new WWII bird later this year. Also forgot how much i love the look of the J11, it's been so long since i flew it. Just need a FF module of it and i am right there cash in hand ready to rock

You know, i have not encountered this bug but now i read this i am scared to fly the sabre again incase i come across it lol
-
Use the rudder to keep the turns tighter and yeah pretty much getting up really high and lining up a diving attack. Takes weeks of practice lol

Not at all mate, you're welcome! Jeez you got bitten bad. I fully expect to see you on here in a few months telling people off for having gotten their facts about the impact of barometric pressure and wake turbulence's effect on missile velocity all wrong :doh: (or something like that)

You're missing the point i feel.:( When the chute fails = no taxiing (In-Flight start, no use of air tanks or gear lever at all except from down) When the chute works = Taxiing (Ramp start, using air and gear lever up and neutral ) If their was a keybind issue i would experience it during either situation i reckon, though i will double check. Most binds are still on default so would be surprised if it was that. I will try and get a short vid detailing what i am experiencing but i didn't think it would be necessary for such a simple issue. Nonetheless, procedures are procedures. Seems unlikely i am the only one with the issue. To be continued

Man, Vulkan could be a massive improvement for my Ryzen rig. I mean it's already doing really well but just that tiny bit more multithreading etc should just sweeten the deal nicely. Loving the updates too guys, thank you

Harsh? Maybe not, might be mis-reading it to be fair. Personally, when i first encountered DCS, my first serious flight sim experience, i could not fathom that people were willing to fork out "SO MUCH MONEY..." for "...ONE (insert preferred expletive) PLANE!?!?". Boy was i wrong, as you can see from my signature, i caught the bug big time and let me tell you it hasn't stopped at DCS either! Nor will it stop for quite some time i am sure :pilotfly::pilotfly: The way sim companies like L****ar :smilewink: and ED, for example, operate is a bit jarring to people at first but once you see the work that goes in to each and every module (title in a sense) it is entirely understandable IMHO.

Hello, Is this a simulation of a later model of the A10C (historically)? I.e. More modern systems simulation etc? If so, i think it's great that existing owners will receive a discount. Also, if that is the case will it still be possible to fly the older model after upgrading? Thanks

Possibly related to how the RAT turbine hatch has been incorporated into the model i wonder. Has there been a light source added to the compartment which is being allowed to switch on mid-flight? Not in sim to test right now

I am afraid it is not a question of (or shouldn't be) air pressure as i literally am spawning into the aircraft from "flying point" in ME and immediately landing. Gear is already in neutral position and brakes not applied until flaps level and parachute not deploying. Like i say, it doesn't happen if you take off from runway/ramp, turn around and land. It deploys fine and as expected but air start defo has a bug in there as far as i can tell. Won't put me off just a slight PITA for practicing landing from the air is all :smilewink:

I do have to say though that, sim-level inaccuracies aside, it's stunning to look at and gives a nice homely feel for us westerners to fly over. Gotta love flying an old soviet bird high over western europe :harhar:
-
Edited: Arrogant and unfair post originally, would be nice to see more period accuracy

Why are you hi-jacking a complete thread to add negativity? If you have an issue with HB then post your own topic in the bug section please, or contact them directly. I bought the module and couldn't be happier with what i have seen, you're like the sad kid at a party right now man

Cheers OS, so long as the Mi-19P gets the love before the 23 then all will be calm. :music_whistling:

[NO BUG, IT ACTUALLY CAN] Gazelle STILL can't contact AWACS...
Bagpipe replied to D4n's topic in Bugs and Problems
CAN it be done in real helo? If yes, Do it. -
I have had this, you need to disable MFAA entirely in NV control panel
-
Can't remember but yes probably didn't put it on standby as just switched to nav mode after the CAS. Will have a look and see, will this become less of an issue when ED update A2G radar api?
-
The gear lever is down in pic as i am hurtling down the runway on wheels with no chute(reference the altimeter). Still plenty of air pressure for brakes as stated in my first post. You can just about stop but then cannot taxi futher as use all pressure to stop. In an air start mission it should never be an issue to have no air pressure after landing as the aircraft should be configured correctly to simulate a competent pilot having got it into the air... Strange that a module as old as this still has basic problems like this.

Took MG arms from enemy on Caucasus CAS Instant Action causing a TRU warning. RTB'd and when approaching Vaziani on ILS glideslope, FPS dropped from 60+ to slideshow. F2 view resolved the problem, issue only encountered when in cockpit looking at ILS symbology. I have never had DCS drop so low in FPS, something not right with coding somewhere i guess??

ok...so weirdly enough, air start missions = no chute operation. Takeoff from runway = successful chute operation. Is this a known bug?
