  1. See above paraphrase for explanation :music_whistling:
  2. Hey man, don't take this the wrong way but i feel like we should all get a crowd fund going, given your credentials, to put the cash together for you to upgrade. Purely so that you can enjoy the sim for ALL it has to offer (i.e. stunning visuals). I feel genuinely *upset* for you that you have been simming for so long but dont have a top notch rig to see DCS in all it's glory. Again, this isn't a dig in anyway, i genuinely think this should happen!:D I hope i haven't come across rude
  3. IMO, this sort of thing has to be more transparent at time of purchase given the no refunds policy. Not saying i want to refund this module, far from it, but just glad i bought it discounted. Maybe ED should add an "about the devs section" to the product page...or just concentrate on improving DCS and ignore this...meh
  4. ED will give you the development tools to produce terrains/maps for them if you apply and can prove your worth. I believe this has been mentioned previously a few times. :) I.e. Ugra
  5. Cage the bear by Kaba is definitely recommended
  6. @OverStratos, Are there any plans to implement engine/compressor stalls etc when in High AoA/High air flow states, such as those found with the Mig21bis module. I love my Mig19 but having flown the 21 i can't help but wonder if the 19 would have suffered the same issues. I find it really adds to the dynamic of the jet as you have to be very conscious of how you fly it in a dogfight. As it stands, with the 19 i can pull High AoA with afterburn engaged and pretty much stall the plane vertically while the engine still churns along quite happily glowing in the background. Which leads me to think there is more can be done in this department.:huh: As always, thanks for the effort and keep up the beautiful work
  7. Just bought this module and although it is good fun to learn it has some glaring issues which should really have been dealt with by now if that is the case. Really disappointing that they allow this to detract from a really good attempt at a module. :(
  8. Check out the vid I made for you guys! Awesome server, keep it up
  9. So there’s a new server up and it is fantastic! Check out the vid then head on over to the OB server lobby! Thank you to the Admins for creating this wonderful idea
  10. Thanks man, i knew i was missing something obvious just didn't want to delete my FC3 files (although they would restore anyway i guess....)
  11. Excellent, thank you
  12. Yeah that one looks like a good choice and extremely varied
  13. Small visual bug See screenshots attached
  14. I don't have any problems using the ARK nav system on the -19 to be honest. As mentioned above, forethought goes a long way as well as moving your view directly in front of the dial when tuning for accuracy.
  15. Apologies first of all if this has been covered elsewhere. Anyways, is there a solution to completely remove the annoying pop-ups about keybinds for the free FC3 modules which were provided previously? I own FC3 and when i update, the prompts return and it's is a PITA to have to delete folders each time i update/repair DCS in order to stop them appearing. Thanks for the help :smartass:
  16. Really looking forward to this BD. Keep safe mate
  17. HAW! ...:smilewink:
  18. good bump +1
  19. Ok cheers folks. I will try a repair etc but i tend to do them after each OB update as standard practice. Most likely a random error related to having to fiddle with graphical settings after performance loss of last update.
  20. It is only on that particular mission
  21. Oh boy, what a mess... :music_whistling: Gonna run the usual diagnostics, delete fxo and meta etc. hopefully this will resolve but if not, this will need to be looked at. Curious to know if this is just me or DCS-wide?
  22. Try setting CPU affinity so that DCS does not operate on core 0/1(v). This often helps with another well known flight sim for me as it allows the first core to focus on background tasks and windows solely while the game runs on all other cores. Haven't tested as not really got time now but worth a shot and a re-test to see if anything improves?
  23. noted this on the AJS37 Viggen RedFlag, AI wingman/flight lead pops up to new altitude at last km or so of travelling to next WP. Very off putting
  24. I'd love to help but to me it's a bit of a grey area. Sorry, couldn't resist!!
