Has this already been reported? (I know, read through and find a bug report but i gotta get the dinner on :lol:) Any time i get close to the tanker basket i get break away even when conditions are optimal. see screens, speed is marginally higher than tanker and just edging towards basket... Sorry if already a thing but been away from hornet a bit lately :(

Like i say it's literally the first time i have started the campaign. Wolf 1 landed next to it (dangerously close to it) at mission end. Top notch mission though, very enjoyable, very immersive and challenging aswell. :pilotfly:

This is a new one for me. Thought i noticed it when the WW2 assets update came out but this is the first since. The triangular shapes shrink towards the ship and then appear again larger and so on. Running current OB, not sure if SC related or something else but it sure is ugly :music_whistling:

Literally hopped into the campaign having waited on the advice of WA for the last update with the fixes so as not to ruin the experience as i have been looking forward to this one. Mission 1, started her up after instructed, looks right and this is what i see out my window....:music_whistling: :doh:

There is so much more information on the F16 HUD and if you are in less than optimal conditions they can rreally save your bacon, not like those found in the aforementioned aircraft.:smilewink:

So glad you captured this in a video, that line does my head in and i have meant to record it for a while. It is very obvious especially when low altitude in a viggen or heli. :thumbup: Please fix this ED!

Yeah man, you can raise a query with management if you have an issue but you can't stand outside a shop waving a sign saying "DO NOT BUY" it is borderline slanderous, in fact. :shocking: At least, in the UK at least.

Dependent on your rig, i would recommend SSAA x2 with either no MSAA or x2. If not then dial the SSAA down to x1.5 and if you need more FPS then roll back the anisotropic filter setting a bit. After each time you alter the settings you must exit DCS and delete fxo/metashaders 2 and reboot the program to be sure everything changes.

I don't really think the plane is designed to be flown straight and level with full flaps and gear down, as this is a landing configuration by way of design. I'm reading this thread and not understanding what the problem is. It almost feels like you are not grasping the physics involved? And without ever flying the real aircraft (??) i doubt you ever fully will. (not trying to be rude here). The throttles are supposed to be walked(jiggled), and the aircraft is supposed to descend in landing config....

MFAA can cause problems. In order to use override in NV Control panel you must set MSAA in game to x2 so that NV knows where to inject it's own MSAA into (per se)

When will we see the updated FM? Sorry if this has been asked over and over but i really like this heli's possibilities but it is really unrealistic to fly in comparison to the other DCS choppers available so i am waiting with bated breath for the update to see if it gets me back in the cockpit some more :)

Man i need that manual. Been out the harrier for so long as it was my first FF module and i flew it to death but will get back into it and work page by page once your manual is available. :thumbup::smartass:

Hej viggen mästare, ;) A few bug reports which may or may not have been reported and/or addressed; - IFF test button still crashes DCS to desktop - this was reported as fixed a while back?? :huh: - Lighting still spilling out into duct chambers and exhaust chamber - ALso, i believe, reported as fixed a while back?? :huh: - No keyboard command for wheel brake left/right, only wheel brake. Left and right only axis assignable (i have no rudder pedals at present :doh:) Could you please advise when the above little niggles will be addressed please :) Ta

I think as the community have waited so patiently for so long that it should just be thrown in as a freebie full fidelity module to all Viggen owners... now that's making a statement guys :P -

The trouble would be that ED have to double check and cross reference everything for inaccuracies sake and this would detract greatly from their current workload and focus, i guess. Plus, there would be the worry of what all the UN-talented people would throw in there too :doh: But yeah, apply and see what they come back with, let me know what they say :thumbup: -
What is the general consensus on the FPS inside the cockpit of the viper? I can't help but feel let down (a little) whenever i look downward inside the cockpit as the fps plummets. Apart from this i am loving the module and watching it grow is great however i would fly it more regularly if i didn't have to consider adjusting my graphics settings every time i hop in it. Is this something that is being worked on? Is there a texture in particular in there that is causing the drop in fps? If so, could we have an alternative texture layout added to the special menu in the options?

Once 2.5.6 hits stable release you should see a huge difference. Or go to OB and enjoy everything except the frame rates :music_whistling: ;)

yeah i believe you have top keep below 250 otherwise the drag becomes too strong for the lil virtual pilot model to turn the handle (puny human)
