  1. So with snowfox persistance, Is the mission you were on previously supposed to persist into the next game or is it just the entities? Just curious as i have got the lua files showing persistance being written but when i went back to the AO (snowfox) i didn't have the previous mission i was in the middle of. If there were a way to allow that it would be even better although right now i am having a great time with it. Good job
  2. Also interested, most definately. Just tried PG for the first time and it is great. Makes you use your systems 100% as you have no real idea what to expect when you head out. Very cool
  3. so basically...do as instructed to the lua as above, enter the mission in ME, change game mode flag value to "1", save the mission, exit ME, play mission from missions menu and every time i enter this mission it will persist from my previous progress? Awesome.
  4. Can someone give me a clear and precise instruction list of how to do this sanitizing lark for persistence please? i have looked through at previous posts but i don't understand what they are telling me to do. Do i have to run the mission once to create the .lua and then edit it or....??? Sounds really cool just not very clear to get started with SP persistance
  5. Physics my man
  6. Probably asked a thousand times but i just got the module and noticed that most of the switches go against the grain of other modules in using the right-click=up left-click=down method of interaction. With the upgraded cockpit coming, can this be addressed as it is driving me insane coming from other modules to the hog and having to flick switches several times to have them do what i want. Also, will the view be getting looked at, even if i adjust the default view, you are left with a strange camera behaviour where it now pivots around whatever offset from default you have created so looking downwards lifts your view slightly also etc. On the other hand, i cant believe i didnt get the hog sooner, never excited me after flying the A10a but jeez it's incredible, so much fidelity i dont even know what to do with  Cheers
  7. Hey what virtual squadron is that, their training set-ups are far out! Very serious, maybe too serious...:lol:
  8. Yeah it's great fun and very well made imo
  9. I just got the f86, have had the mig for a while now. Most of the time during maneuvering you are doing 250-300kts, with the -19 i would say more like between 350-450kts with a much more powerful engine behind you so the plane will be snappier imo. If you drop the speed down to 250kts (460km/h) you will notice much more "sway", possibly too much tbh as the thing tends to rock and stall and spin and generally fall out the sky like a rock. Its a beast to master, i am still trying months down the line.
  10. Hi folks, Can any of you fine people point me in the direction of some good quality free to play missions or campaigns for CA? Cheers
  11. Thanks for this Phil, glad to hear i am not the only one struggling. Others have mentioned that you can use an MP server and so long as another player simply spectates, you can use their track to get accurate replays for editing. My question is, could ED not create a means for users to create a second player on a server. I.e. create an AI client which spectates and records a track which the player can then access and edit that way. You could then mash up footage from in cockpit and the external track footage from the AI client? My phraseology may be wrong here but i hope folks can understand what i am getting at
  12. Just got this module in the sale and really enjoying it so far. Similar systems to the Mig 19 i already had but with a distinct difference aswell. Great fun!
  13. OR, according to the training mission, you can turn off realistic NWS in the F86 special tab of the options menu and it will function normally whenever you press the NWS button
  14. you could try the taxiing training mission which will explain the NWS. though if you cant be bothered...If your wheel is locked left, turn your rudder that direction then engage NWS button, turn rudder slowly back to centre and this should catch the wheel and bring it back around for you, keep button pressed until finished taxiing.
  15. Guys/ED, This shadows issue that people have been reporting for a while Re: shadows appearing and disappearing on the ground in low flight, lines of rendering visible as you fly through a map, shadows looking terribe in general even maxed out, tree shadows being dodgy at times, shadows in general being a PITA. Is there an estimation as to when it will be looked at because i gotta say it is really immersion breaking and should be an absolute fundamental for any 3D program these days to have fully functioning, decent looking shadows. Man i have been trying hard not to gripe but this is really grinding me  Thanks
  16. I noticed alot in the spitfire so i have just went out and bought the F86 Sabre to see how dogfighting in a jet feels with the new WIP AI system. Should be a hoot.
  17. All i am saying is "Bingo, bingo, bingo...." Dont forget to subscribe :music_whistling:
  18. No Nineline, i believe said, that it would be more noticeable in close dogfighting situations but does apply to the overall AI in-game. Not a precise quote but along those lines
  19. Hi folks, I am working on a new YT Channel (Flying Bagpipe) and am starting to get the hang of this video editing lark. My first short film of the Hornet just went live so please go check it out comment and subscribe. I mean...it's not a perfect landing but come on i am trying to hold a camera and land a 3-wire at the same time here :thumbup: Thanks!
  20. Well...whatever it is my point is, new or not, it needs a bit of work LOL Looks like someone got a marker pen to the cowling. Can't wait for the DM to be complete mind you!
