  1. In that regard would be cool to have some kneeboard, on which would be visible which seekers are on each stations (specially in case if you cary 4 different ones). That kneeboard would have to be geneated automatically.
  2. If you specificly and consciously select outter pylons, then you will only drop whats on those 2 pylons, and nothing else. And btw, on weapon selector "C" does not mean "off", but in current emplementation of F-4E is not in use.
  3. No need to put weapon selector to C. As a matter of fact, weapon selector can be on any position, it doesn't matter. What matters is station selector on Stores, arming pylons you want to drop (in our case Left and Right outer pylons, so LO and RO) and press Push to jet button. Thats it!
  4. So is it indeed true that the RWR AN/ALR-46 can't detect the airbrne radar in track mode? I find it very strange, that it cannot distinguish between search and track mode. And why is there anyothe button "Activity Power", in the manual it says it has similar functions to Missile Launch button, but nothing more. So we have two "warning buttons" for SAM launch? Which at least means RWR can detect ground radars (like SAMs) in search and track mode.
  5. What do you mean by "the tanker is not allowed to put in the boom."? Its always out, just waiting to reconnect. But I have seen this false call out "transfter compelte" a couple of times, and it was really strange to me why is calling that.
  6. Personally, I think trim work fine, or I should say, I have no issues with trimming the plane the way I want to. Maybe, maybe each button press the trim should really have a bit less of an effect, for lets say half as @Beirut said. So for an effect that we have now per one button click, there should be two clicks.
  7. That question from Jester seems completely irrelevant to me, I could say unnecessary. Would be better that we as a pilot would tell him what type of mission we are about to fly, if there is something specific about it, else we would not tell him anything.
  8. Do you havd bind controls for Alt Hold? If I mouse click on that Alt Hold knob it always works, it stays in Engaged position. But if I bind the Alt Hold - Engage to my controller (joystick, throttle, or what ever), it disengages immediately by it self. Here is my thread I created about it.
  9. No, I am sure liveries will be on a usual place: ...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\F-4E Btw, you have to create the plane's folder manually inside the Liveries.
  10. You mean FOV? Check here:
  11. Bind the Communication control to some button, then on the UHF COMM panel put the switch to Manual mode and set that big knob to T/R+G position. Then set UHF frequency on the right comm pannel (there are 5 knobs for each digit of XXX.XX MHz) you want to communicate over, and when you want to do that, press that asigned button. I tried it ones yesterday, and I was able to communicate with the tower on 250.20 at Banak airport (Norway). Bind the Communication control to some button, then set UHF frequency on the right pannel you want to communicate over, and when you want to do that, press that asigned button.
  12. I use an axis for Zoom. Then is all simple.
  13. AI planes are those who need the 2nd touch. For me its just impossible to gun kill AI Fishbed with the Phantom. Mig-21 has such an incredible turn rate, and its speed seems not to be dropping as much, as I would expect at those rates. Its kind of incredible for the 60s plane. I wonder what the ED (concerning AI) and the developers of Mig-21 and other planes will do now when the Phantom is out, which clearly set the bar very high in practically any standard there is.
  14. For AI there is much more code in the background, if you can imagine.
  15. Green is just fine for this current month of the year, I love it.
  16. This is not working for AI, only for Player or Client. If you set the type for waypoint zero to "Take off from ground" or "Take off from ground hot", you can place it anywhere you like (so it seems). And don't forget to move the plane into the correct direction (that circle with an arrow; beside the password).
  17. Agreed. At today's hardware, this should not be a problem I suppose, specially with a help of using some tricks.
  18. Will it pass IC? I doubt it. Pass this to Orbx, so they include it in the map.
  19. I am sure the Orbx will make things right sooner or later. I also like the map in the current state, I just miss some more airports in the middle of the map. But they are aware of it, and I believe they will make it right eventually. I just hope it will not take too much time, and that it won't happen like with SA, which went into oblivion (unfortunatelly). The only problem I see here, that SA map and Kola do the same people, I hope they learned something from their mistakes.
  20. Aircrafts take a lot of free parking spots right, which can be occupied with the ones to actually usem them?
  21. I would prioritize the other stuff like airports, sam sites, and other similar things which have major impact on creating and flying missions, then the graphics, this can come later.
  22. In case if you use any tracking device or VR, just press the "center" button on the keyborad (trackIR has F12, VR has num5 on numpoad). And while doing that, be on your perfect position looking forward.
  23. yep, which mean it is not implemented. So this switch does nothing on this particular aircraft.
  24. Elevation bar scan number is suppose to alternate between number 1,2,3,4 in TWS and 1,2,4 in RWS (and VSR) modes. So when having selected 3 in TWS and switching to RWS it then addes each time +2, so it does go to 5,7,9,.... Video and a track attached. PS: forgot to say, it can be reset with going to TWS mode and back to RWS. f-16_elevation_bar_scan.trk
