  1. This. I use the slew axis settings by Ralfidude, in his video here in all planes:
  2. Skatezilla's launcher has the option to launch without vr. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053&highlight=skatezilla+launcher Alternatively, you can make a copy of the exe with an added command, see sec 4 here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=164892
  3. This had me stumped for admittedly far too long when I tried a 4am start the other day. A penlight would definitely be helpful.
  4. I'm sure we'll see optimisation passes that bring back some of that performance, hopefully with increased readability, and without doubt brightness settings. Seeing as my Reverb just arrived about 20mins ago, I'm honestly a little disappointed that it won't help that much. Oh well, will have to see this weekend. That's exactly what's causing the bright foot wells. I noticed the same problem as you started when I went from low to even flat shadows, let alone off. I'm wondering if reporting to ED will just result in a [correct as is] tag and a recommendation to turn on shadows?
  5. Just a heads-up for anyone in the UK, the Reverb Pro is currently £514.80 on the HP site, down from the usual £599 I was seeing a couple weeks ago. Quidco is also giving 7% cashback on pre-VAT price, for a total of £17 back. Was going to wait for a Black Friday deal, but I pulled the trigger today, and then promptly ordered a new computer build to go with it.
  6. Does anyone run a Reverb with a 2070 Super? If so, what are your in-game settings like? If I can run most settings on high/med at 45fps locked, I'd be more than happy. Looking to upgrade from a CV1, along with a 9700k/2070S/32gb Ram rig build.
  7. My headset IPD is correct, and I adjust in-game IPD per plane usually to get an accurate sense of scale. The only thing that helps with HUD size is moving/zooming in the seat, which lead to an incorrect position in the cockpit. I'm glad that I'm not the only one. I've been looking around to see what can be done, and haven't come up with anything so far. Maybe someone familiar with the game's innards/lua may be able to help?
  8. I'm not touching it until next year then ;) Looking forward to whenever you get a chance to have a look. Cheers.
  9. Is there anyway to scale the HUD size or FOV? For me in VR, it's almost always a little too big in nearly all planes when I have the seat position where needed; stretching to the absolute edges of the HUD frame, which just makes it uncomfortable to use.
  10. Home Fries, is there any chance of a profile for the MB-339A sometime in the future? Thanks
  11. It's definitely implemented, and dynamic. Also, in case you didn't know, you can bring up the DED on HUD with a switch on the right side panel to make reading it even easier.
  12. Thanks! Can't wait to get stuck into this mission!
  13. Hey Sedlo, could you please drop a link for the pdf? The download page doesn't have one like the Eastern Friendship pages, and I can't copy/paste the in-game link.
  14. I've been trying since launch (and months if you count F-16s in general :music_whistling:), and heard "transfer complete" for the first time just now. It just sort of finally clicked. Feels good man. Then, went and topped up again after some fingertip formation practice with my wingman. :D
  15. Anecdotally, to offer another opinion; taildraggers account for the vast majority of what I fly, and have flown for years with no trouble in the crossiest of crosswinds in any plane, and yet I'm still having trouble with keeping this F-16 on the runway on both take-off and landing. Now I admit that may be down to not dialing in my rudder curve just right yet (I'm trying though!), but something does feel wrong to me here, on both landing and take-off.
  16. I've noticed a very, very faint black line recently when sitting in the cockpit. Thought it might have been a VR issue, but it matches this image very well.
  17. I don't think, also with the RWR font, that too many of us would mind a little inaccuracy in the name of clarity.
  18. I think at least some of the varying opinions in this thread may/could stem from seat position and probably in-game IPD people are using. It's not always fair that just because you do or don't have a problem that others do or don't. For me, in the default seating position, MFD text was definitely clearer (but not necessarily easy to read) for me in a CV1 at 1.3 PD. As I've moved backwards in-game and reclined my real chair to match what I believe to be a more accurate position based on the seatback, I'm at a point where I'm not really able to make out text too well anymore. Adding 2x AA at the same PD brought a little clarity back though. YMMV Even though I'm planning to upgrade my HMD and PC, I'm still hoping text clarity could be cleaned up a little. Brightness is most definitely an issue I think we can all agree upon.
  19. This. I always love this pic when talking about radome wear variation: Almost any and every colour variation of radome we're likely to see on a skin, first or third party, will probably be "correct". That being said, more options by default are never a bad thing.
  20. I'm having to make some adjustments to my landings, coming from that other F-16 sim, where it was much easier in crosswind. But like you stated from the HAF manual, crabbing wings level is the way to go. Here is a T-Day and Jello pointing out an F-16 landing with a little crab: I just need to settle on a good rudder curve that works for both NWS sensitivity and rudder responsiveness once main wheels on tarmac. Having a lot of trouble with the latter currently.
  21. There are a few cockpit decals missing. But someone on reddit posted information on them, and Nineline has already reported IIRC
  22. Ignore, fault already reported SRMbug.trk
  23. Had the pitch oscillation happen once in a 770+ steep dive before the patch as well. Cat I, clean bird on an acrobatics server, refueling door definitely closed. Thought it might have been just me.
  24. Home Fries, I just wanted to thank you for making this. After having the base install of DCS for years, your profile really helped me to to finally start playing earlier this year as I was often scared off by having to make my own bindings, as I come from WW2 sims and wasn't sure how modern sensors and weapons actually functioned. Your profile really helped make it easy to learn, and everything I fly in DCS uses your work. So thanks!
  25. I've gone onto using a Target profile, but before I did, I had the three-way AP switch working fine (as well as the flaps switch used for roll/hdg), as well as occasionally not registering the centre/off until a restart (without changing binding). No idea why that would happen, but shows that something certainly isn't right with the binding. Can't recommend this Target profile system enough: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116454 All bindings work as they should, including 2-way Laser and Cat switches
