  1. You mean display directions? Bottom icon, the one between planes. You can turn on a .lua scripts to show you predicted fly patch and turn rate calculations too. I'm not sure are those not Adv version only.
  2. Those will make my heart beat faster for sure: No.305 Polish RAF Sq. http://www.polishsquadronsremembered.com/305/Pic_gal.html Aussie Bright Red Mosquito VH-KLG Racer https://www.goodall.com.au/australian-aviation/dh98/civilmosquito.html
  3. Yes, I notice. You believe that F117 is invisible.
  4. I think SA-6 can acquired target optically too. Probably on much shorter distances (14km by the Wikipedia). After looking at your mission: You rally have to research the subject before you start typing those topics. - read about F117 and first stealth technology and propaganda/marketing - set missions at night - turn off radar, radio transmissions, limit after burner, etc. - set a plane behind detection range - yellow circles I manage to get 5km to target at AGL1500ft before Tor start shooting. I consider this very accurate for a simulation.
  5. Yes, Esc is working. I made myself a three weeks brake from DCS... Plus some habits from others sims. Anyway, Back button and closing slots window, while you in cockpit shouldn't kick you out from a slot. I would add the Go spectator button, Back to work as Esc, and get a kick only when you actually chose the new slot and press Ok button, to have this more "logic or intuitive".
  6. Is it gear up or down? Weapon hatches opened or closed? In Serbia bird get shot 'cos of that, so maybe we have this as a feature now.
  7. I remember this one from the past, now is back again. Once you in cockpit and click Esc, Menu, Choose slot (even by mistake), you will get kick of your current slot. Does not matter what you click next, Back / X to close the window, you can't back to cockpit and have to select slot from start. Very annoying one!
  8. The Black Boar. I made this one for the old ED's model. It looks pretty good.
  9. 8 guns, this is WOW imo. Unfortunately we have no access to settings how all those guns are aimed. If im not mistaken, all 8 shoot in same horizontal plane. If we could adjust this to make all those guns shoot in different vertical plane, to cover a bigger space in the air. That's would be much a bigger WOW factor and advantage when aiming.
  10. Read documentation, watch YouTube tutorials. Is all there.
  11. Hey Mongo52, if you have more photos of those planes, I would love to feed my eyeballs. Flickr, Imgur, Airfighters.com ? Drop a link please, if you can.
  12. New damage model could be a true game changer for this module. The strongest point P47, according to pilots was power of 8 guns. I couldn't catch that in a sim. If more WW2 planes will get new damage model and will be spectacular to watch, how P47 guns rip a part enemy planes, the popularity of tis module will grow. With new damage model, we need better shrapnel damage simulation as well.
  13. You can use more than one file with numbers in one livery.
  14. Hi. I notice that once you have a template, you can use it to produce few more of those camos. VFA-97 is the one I looking for, very similar to VFA-146. I think this one was used in operation Endurance Freedom. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fc/F-18A_Hornet_of_VFA-97_in_flight_c1999.jpg https://cdn3.volusion.com/mxnwy.pldzr/v/vspfiles/photos/TWOB48034-2.jpg https://modelingmadness.com/scott/decals/2bobs/tb48034a.jpg
  15. All those scripts need some time for proper start at the mission loading. Set it to have 2-3s (or even more 10s) space between Moose loading, Rage loading, Mist loading, etc.
  16. Read the documentation. I remember, that all RAT planes are by the default set as neutral to each other and everything around. Im sure the is a way to adjust this.
  17. Definitely not a training missions. Tutorials, yes but not for training. Those missions from Spitfire module will stop and finish you fly like a MSFS crash window, only by showing a fail msg and all you can do is to restart by reloading all mission again. Not even giving a information, what was wrong. Like in the take off lesson when you drift on one side to much. Using those missions in routine training would be very annoying. After going through many tutorials in a free weak time, my observation was that all those tutorials differ significantly from one to another module. Those missions are like DCS face, first missions that every DCS user will approach. The Yak-52 module tutorials are best examples how good tutorial should looks like. Immersive, to the point, you can finish quickly or stay longer and practice how long you want. Good first impression.
  18. YES! Working! I stuck at &Joystick, trying to use some additional functions to blank TG1 for the TG2 press time. I know that this can be done in much better way. This is it. I refresh my knowledge about C syntax by the way. Thank you for help.
  19. Hello. I'm trying to achieve something: TG1 - on long press (1s) - Laser_OnOff - this is the first trigger stage; TG2 - Gun_Fire (on hold, when relesed stop, Gun_Fire off) - the second trigger stage; When I press trigger in Warthog, to the second stage - TG2, the first one - TG1 going on too. So, when I set this in a normal way mapping all this, every time I press fire for longer time my laser go on or off. // Warthog Joystick TG1 MapKeyIO(&Joystick, TG1, Null_Event, TEMPO(Null_Event, LDRF_switch, 1000)); // Warthog Joystick TG2 MapKeyIO(&Joystick, TG2, Null_Event, Gun_Fire); I wish to have long burst fire when using TG2 Gun_Fire but not to switch my Laser On or Off on TG1 Long press (1s) while shooting. From the manual: include "target.tmh" char flag1; //we create a flag called flag1 int main() { if(Init(&EventHandle)) return 1; flag1=0; //set the flag1 value to 0 at startup of the configuration MapKey(&Joystick, TG2, EXEC("flag1=1;")); //set the flag1 to 1 (true) when TG2 is pressed MapKeyR(&Joystick, TG2, EXEC("flag1=0;")); //set the flag1 to 0 (false) when TG2 is released MapKey(&Joystick, TG1, EXEC("if(flag1) ActKey(Weapon_Fire); else ActKey(LDRF_switch);")); MapKey(&Joystick, TG1, EXEC("if(TG2) ActKey(Weapon_Fire); else ActKey(LDRF_switch);")); } int EventHandle(int type, alias o, int x) { DefaultMapping(&o, x); } ( This will work only with PULSE+KEYON+'a'. If I remove PULSE or try tu use my definitions will not work. ) I can't make this code to use proper hold press recognition. I need something like this: MapKey(&Joystick, TG1, EXEC("if(TG2) ActKey(KEYON+'a'); else ActKey(KEYON+'b');")); With : TEMPO(Null_Event, LDRF_switch, 1000)); How to achive this ?
  20. If you are building something bigger you can use dynamic script loading. This will speedup all proces.
  21. Those tutorial missions need probably an update. In guns training labels are off by the scenario, no way to spot enemy plane on a map or by using his outside cam. This make this scenario hard, once you loose MiG from view, he will not attack you back.
  22. Where is the space bar in my Spit? This is actually in all tutorials from all modules, but here, in a Spitfire module is the most annoying. Beautiful made cockpit, nice audio voice commands, even edited with 1944 radio effect and then... please press a space bar to continue. I guess I'm the only one who get annoyed by this. It's like all those modules was made for some dumb arcade shooter, not a flight simulation. It completely destroys the immersion. The best solution would be just to cut off all the audio lines with it, and leave text messages.
  23. Tutorial missions. I don't want to say, that those are the worst from all the DCS modules, 'cos I haven't try them all, but those are terrible. If Devs have no time to do those right, why not make video guides, like those in Huey module? I found some YT guides for P47 more smooth and informative, than those delivered with Jug. Teaching about trimming in P47... that was funny. I committed fratricide four times just following instructions. When I finally get to gun use lesson, my engine was dead, before I get control over the plane... I though, I can handle Jug just fine, after 80h in free Stang, I'm good with 2- and 3- point landings and most of flight stages... Nop. I couldn't even keep this bird in straight flight. I can understand the low popularity. I wish to have more time to try this module before buy, but more likely I will go for P51 or Spit.
  24. Can we have a template for external liveries please? Preferred GIMP or psd format.
  25. I updated AB-212ASW.lua for Huey Flexcam but when starting DCS, I get: "mod unauthorized will be turn off". I on a open beta. Is this mod work only with standalone? Anyone out there have any of those mods working with current sta or ob? Flexcam, external fuel tank or powerline worker.
