Thanks for liveries. I wanted to ask if there was any special reason why you left .bmp. inside file names? Maybe I'm wrong but I think this is obsolete.

Tacview 1.8.4 Win10 ENG, with ENG menus and POL keyboard layouts; Thanks for bookmarking tip, this will do.

The other approach to cockpit zoom is to set it as dynamic with Track IR axis. When you press a button, the value is read from Track IR axis and you get your fov right away, from your head distance to a screen. So, when keep pressing this button you can zoom in and out (changing your fov) smoothly. Once you release button value is preserved and you can keep zooming in or out using manual zoom buttons.

Nop. Is still there. Now I think is Moose or Mist related. The sound appear is some specific situations, after ATC contact or after other plane announcements while I'm still on the ground. I can hear this sound in cockpit when air brake is opened - this is most annoying. First suspect: Moose Range module with audio files. I will try to record this.

Polish language not working. No problems to switch other languages. Is there a way to change a bookmark name? Would be nice to have 2-3 different bookmarks.

GJ! That's a topic for other mod but would be cool to have bigger, better looking explosions.

DCS 2.5.6.55743 Open Beta Both not appearing after been placed in ME. Looks like the old wood-white-red, boards disappeared from ME menu or are taken away

Mission Editor (ME). Diagram of your airbase. You have to setup all route from start point to landing and parking way point.

Thanks for you rep Flappie. After an update all is back to normal. I mistakenly assumed that this old plane had errors of this caliber.

There is a sound bug on air brakes when use outside view. Brakes extend to full open position, sound go on and multiplying.

Great! Good luck, will watch you guys. What about the MB339 for DCS mod or module? What can we expect? Probably nothing in this year, or maybe 2.0.2 to keep bird flying. (Looks like last dcs update screwed something... not sure what the issue is yet, but I can't fly MB339 - it crash my dcs.) LOL. That was quick: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2020-09-25/

MOOSE - Mission Object Oriented Scripting Framework
Glow replied to FlightControl's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Hello I found in MOOSE.Range doc that there are range control voice overs (>40) for hit assessment, available via Discord. I'm not a Discord user. Is there any other way to download those audio files? BTW: Thanks for updates and all your work. I have good fun build things. MOOSE is awesome! -
AI SAM Logic - Problem Red/Green State Doesn't Work
Glow replied to VAF [136] Striker's topic in Mission Editor Bugs
AI is depending from map? Interesting. I made some AI test on Caucasus, testing AAA. In short: 2x Su-25T Ace level skill can dodge 4 SA-2 and destroy all airport defenses (average level) when set to keep 2800ft and priorites: AAA, SAM, vehicels, all the rest. When I take off in TF-51 to interrupt Su-25T bombing for some reason they start to fight with me doing vertical maneuvers, dangerously close dives in to the AAA site and finally crashing to the ground (maybe 'cos heavy load). Defensing maneuvers are restricted to horizontal, and works with AAA or manpads. But once I get in to the middle in my Mustang, AI start ignoring priorities and attacking TF-51. So in the end I manage to kill two Su-25T Ace level in unarmed TF-51 :D -
Brilliant! It works flawless! I feel like stupid now, one button more on my mouse and I need instructions on how to use it :D

NATO / Russian icons switch, would be nice to have in ME too.

I do not like a new ruler tool. Yes, it will stay on a screen now, but I can't keep stretching it and move a screen in the same time, keeping a right mouse button pressed on, like it was before. I wish to have this possibility of ruler tool bring back.

If you install other apps like a SRS for example, it can overwrite Tacview code in Export.lua. The best way is to make Export.lua manualy by putting there all code lines you need. I doing this by preparing a pack for OvGME and injecting Tacview in to DCS from OvGME after every DCS update. Same with other apps like SRS and all mods. After you install Tackview in your system, you need to have those folders in Saved Games folder: [Mods] | [tech] | | [Tacview] - here is the Tacview for DCS [scripts] - Export.lua | [Hooks] My Export.lua for Tacview and SRS looks like this: -- DCS-SRS pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Tech\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end, nil); -- TacView local Tacviewlfs=require('lfs');dofile(Tacviewlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/TacviewGameExport.lua')

Runway distance markers & airport signs
Glow replied to TEMPER's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Jesus, calm down! I did not post in this topic to discourage, I like the mod and I'm waiting for it. Instead of ohs and ahs I put some of my needs and the other view. We understand immersive in a different way, that's it. -
Runway distance markers & airport signs
Glow replied to TEMPER's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I know it's a lot of working hours. I made just a little suggestion. I believe that having more light sources that we could place around would be much more useful, immersive and welcome. End_Runway is very simply and universal object, so you can palce a lot of those around and not be scare about fps drop. The one from your screenshot is actually called a runway distance remaining sign. The number on the signs indicates the distance in ft of landing runway remaining. The look is actually different - white number with white frame around on black bg. I don't think that you will find those in Caucasus, 'cos in that part of the world is a metric system in use. Not sure about other locations. IRL doing my landings, I don't have much time to read those numbers anyway. Lights give all the information at night, at day time there is no need for those imo. -
After I put one line to my autoexec to have liveries from Saved Games visible, I can't move Env slider. Help. My autoexec.lua : mount_vfs_liveries_path("d:/(...full_path..)/Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Liveries") Without this Env slider working fine, but no liveries from Saved Games folder.

Runway distance markers & airport signs
Glow replied to TEMPER's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I use End_Runway plates from VPS mod as markers. I need those to visual distances in Tacview when analyze my landings. Works pretty well. Numbers? What I need are lights, diffrent shapes, sizes, power, colors, directional and beacons, etc. Would be cool if someone could do more lights. -
Issue: Not working Bookmark RAlt+B Keyboard layout for non US keyboards see RALT as RALT + LCTRL. Not a bug, it's Windows feature :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltGr_key Way around: You have to switch to ENG US keyboard layout, before start using RALT shortcuts (even those mapped to your controller via TARGET script).
