Thanks, sorted out now. Im using Open Beta on a top of Steam Open Beta install. Just to have Steam overlay with screenshots galleries and in game hours counted. The Steam servers are pretty fast too. you can download some large updates from Steam and then just to use repair to have it converted to Standalone Open Beta in much shorter time. Full guide about this. I hope that Devs will not take this possibility away. I had to delete the file in DCS-steam folder at: "(...)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DCSWorld\Config\retail.cfg" witch is use by Steam version to id itself - and to lock module manager. Steam use some it's own fancy dlc menu instead.

Hi. Im on a collecting ideas stage of my collective build. Your builds look really good. This is what I want to achieve any information will be appreciated. How to made a throttle? How to mount a potentiometer in there? Hannibal, is your handle rotating? If you guys could point me where to look for parts and how to approach this. Have you own any blueprints or a data about real collectives from UH-1 and OH-58? I can't find proper information about sizes and swing ranges. I wish that my build was close to original thing as much as possible. Thanks.

You have to merge SRS and Tacview export luas in one. Then after every update SRS or Tacview, copy this file to overwrite original file. OvGME is your friend. Prepare a package in OvGME to have this more under control. You updating only a OvGME packages manually by copying folders, in both SRS and Tacview keeping the same Export.lua

+1 Can't access modules manager. Action taken: Update, repair all, delate save games. Some modules are visible, some don't and no icon to access modules in top menu. My nick is displayed so log in was correct. I can login to servers.

Hi. I can't find this... How to get the AI to land vertically on airfields or FRAPS? No problem with AI takeoffs, working same good like with helis. I found a mention of a mod for this. Could someone explain something more about AI landing a Harrier please? Looks like missing feature. If an AI heli can do landings just fine, why not AI in a Harrier?

MOOSE - Mission Object Oriented Scripting Framework
Glow replied to FlightControl's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Have a look at EVT-501 - OnEventLand LandingChallengeComplex There are polygon zones used in that mission. I use that few weeks ago with no issues. -
Registering 3D coordinates maybe. Maybe some extra mode with special, smal terrain or room for that kind of studio flights. Plus you can build on it - green screen for screenshots and video recording would be cool feature to have too. If it's true that the new weather system is currently under development, the way of recording and playing tracks should be done in same time. I have no knowledge just fate in DCS team.

Well... on the Moose Range, when you have smoke marker on every unguided missile impact point, don't expect miracle. You can test your pc performance that way, just shoot 64 missiles in one dive attack and see if you get CTD (:

Replay system rework +1 Saving tracks on a server side maybe? I hope ED's will take of this feature, is very needed. Would be awesome to have possibility to load saved track and then flight with it or do some edits, like weather changes, etc.

Wait... what? You use Photoshop and Lightroom soft here? These are no longer in game screenshots but artworks...

You can do quiet a lot with those we already have. Just try it. You do not need to own a SC DLC. I hope EDs will build on this: 1. More uniforms 2. More animations and possibility for AI to react autonomously. Basics: Duck, runaway, walk around, react to rearm, refuel, repair. That should be enough to fill airports with life - then just templates, templates and uniform liveries. 3. Some tools, forklifts, leaders, booms, etc. for airport technicians. Some small basic part of this what we have in mods. Those technicians can eat your wing, if you get to close. Hit box is to big. Would be cool to give those guys a duck animation to just avoid wings or run away like on a carrier. Ideally with no additional coding in ME. Having some basic animation or maybe even an access to import more animations, would give plenty of possibilities for creative use. Hey Larry where's the forklift? Love this :)

Scattered crayons all over the cockpit with a true to live face hit effect +1 @Bullitthead You can bookmark multiple pages. It can be not clear 'cos in some planes board is to close to the left screen edge, and you can't clearly see bookmarks but all are there - just look in to keybinds menu. Kneeboard Builder allow to adjust position of kneeboard on the screen. I wonder how much CPU power this new kneeboard will eat. Some things work better when keep simple.

OB 2.5.6.57264 After last update is hard to see trees in close in view. Important when you need to place units in forest or close to trees.

[MOOSE] RAT - Random Air Traffic
Glow replied to funkyfranky's topic in Scripting Tips, Tricks & Issues
Please help. How to force planes to fly from one air zone to another and despawn in middle air? RAT:DestinationZone() Destinations are treated as zones. Aircraft will not land but rather be despawned when they reach a random point in the zone. local yak=RAT:New("RAT_YAK") -- Set takeoff type to air. yak:SetTakeoff("air") yak:SetDeparture({"RAT Zone West", "RAT Zone South"}) yak:DestinationZone("RAT Zone North") -- Spawn ten Yak-40s. yak:Spawn(10) Planes not reaching the destination zones but land at random airports. -
Some values are accessible only through charts, for ex.Air distance. Please add those to Telemetry window for easier reading of the exact value.

It's the same issue like described in thread: Landing Sound Missing Started by DigitalEngine, 09-11-2018, 08:12 AM It's present after hard landing with damage to wheels or air-brakes. Some times is present only when opening air-brake, even before take-off (the damage could have been done on the ground while taxiing).

O kurde, Nasi na ED-kowym forum! ;) Cześć Wszystkim. Znalazłem, trafiłem. Numerek 28 - chyba raczej marne szanse na językową, polską część forum przy tak małym składzie grupy.

[REPORTED]Su-25T gunpods don't register hits, do damage
Glow replied to maturin's topic in Bugs and Problems
The same SPPU-22-1 gun pod issue - no damage. There is no way to finish tutorial mission with gun pods, this make SPPU-22-1 useless for Su-25T. Build-in gun is working fine. That probably because different ammunition type use. The SPPU-22-1 is loaded with HE-T - High-Explosive Tracer, a build-in gun with AP - Armour Piercing bullets. I found this via Tacview log. This HE-T is so very low damage that even with four SPPU-22-1 destroying M113 in tutorial mission is not possible. -
Ello I use CombatFlite to grab coordinates of my wp, than pushing all through this online converter to have lat-long format (skip the minus in latitude) and then I use those in Tacview static objects.

Definitely require more detail work. First, I refuse to read from a white background, even my Google, Wikipedia and YouTube is all dark themed. I like the Black ED forum theme but pure black background is ugly. Would be much better to have something like very dark grey, brown or navy blue. I miss the old colors. I though that was some kind of ED color code. You see colors and you connect them in mind with company and the product. Lost opportunity? We have some colors in DCS main menu why not use the same on a website to create that kind of connection ? In the meantime, instead of complaining I recommend to make your own css style for DCS Forum - maybe a small competition? https://userstyles.org/ (very slow server) ED would save a lot of work and complains just giving this to users - a small competition, drop some reward, make users to vote and pick best theme. If you like to use dark themes I can recommend extensions for web browsers : "Dark Backgroud and Light text" or "Dark Night Mode". Those work independent from website style and can give some interesting results. I like how the images are handled now - this is grate improvement, duble clicks, dragging the windows borders to change the size, etc. Some screenshots how forum looks on my screen:

Hi. Thanks for your rep. My Win10 is my suspect no.1, if like you wrote 1.8.4 is all fine. The only file I found in Data\XML\ was Data-Falcon4Theaters.xml - no effect when removed. I run Tacview installer again - no effect. Connection to GitHub? I look in to my Firewall rules - all is allowed for Tacview. Tacview.log

Thanks for liveries. I wanted to ask if there was any special reason why you left .bmp. inside file names? Maybe I'm wrong but I think this is obsolete.
