I made Kosovo on a Caucasus map Even distances for F117 to fly from Italy was pretty much same as irl. Would be nice to have all seasons Balkan Peninsula Terrain for DCS, but the other proposition - The Baltic Sea is interesting too. I would rather vote for Baltic Sea.

It's a bug, was reported before. the clouds at 6,7 or 8 can look like that when there is a moon on sky. The way around was to avoid those settings in ME. Maybe new clouds system will bring a fix for this.

The TF-51D has like 3 or 4 lights sources mounted in a cockpit. Just press a switch.

Hi. I had similar error: DX device removed 0x887A0006 I found solution, looks like it's working fine: https://docs.substance3d.com/spdoc/gpu-drivers-crash-with-long-computations-128745489.html In short: GPU drivers will stop and get a kick from Windows and DCS will crash. I had like 50-60fps, but when to many textures or smoke and explosions, I get crash with no hang or any foreshadowing of evil forces involvement, not a hang, no fps drop, just a CTD. Solution: Add to DWORD (32-bit) Values to Windows registry to alow Windows to wait for a driver (60-120 sec). Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers TdrDelay TdrDdiDelay Give both value of 60 (secunds decimal). I'm testing this now in my scenarios and looks like is working. Maybe would be a good thing to add this to DCS World updater? Windows updates will clean those values, so you have to remember to set those after any Win update.- 17 replies

Watch YouTuber tutorials, is all there. For me this is really impressive. For example: I'm trying to build a real life civilian traffic. All planes are individually spawned on the real air routes, every plane have a number and a different livery with keeping a different altitudes like irl controllers would manage. All will land in appropriate airports when get order to land. All this is randomised. When at the start of a military operation in a region, having all airliner planes all over the palce, than all slowly trying to avoid a conflict area and been grounded, I had to accomplish a BVR mission. Things get complicated rapidly, not just when shooting a missile in heavy air traffic. Avoiding collisions in mid air, heavy air traffic, closed airports and redirections. Doing this manually? Manually in ME you can at most set up a few airplanes flying some dump waypoints. -
How to turn off the pilot view vector? Is there any shortcut for this? Would be good to have it.

Hi. Some time ago I read about this, now I wonder how to actually do that in DC. Maybe someone already done it, so I will ask first. I wonder is there easy way to send data from script, like the printf doing via output window but to have those on screen? Similar like data from MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner Statistic Server. I thinking about a big red counter with amount of button presses, to count chaff and flare use. Is there something like sWavPlayer.exe for playing .wav files but for printf and OSD?

Currently in User files library there are more P-47D liveries (189), than for Spitfire (179) or 13 years old, free Su-25T (182). -
I hope everyone here understands how piercing ammunition works. Yes, you can put things on fire without making them explode right away, even in DCS - but hey, to be clear: I don't mind Gaz exploding like been nuke. I love this! I'm pointing at that first smoke ring here, the one coming out when a bullet put thing on fire.

A ring of animated smoke wave, when you destroy a unit by small burst or single bullet gun shot (Su25T). Just before unit start to burn, there is that short, smoke wave animation like on begging of the explosion. You know immediately that attack was successful in a dive. Would be better without this animation, so you have to take on altitude and watch for black smoke or repeat an attack. That's why for me this brake immersion a bit.

Hi. I think there is a bug in that search menu. Instead of TF-51D we have TF-51. You can put in a search box TF-51D and find many mods, but if you pick from the list TF-51 there is only one thing currently. I seen this issue in logbook before too (I couldn't use TF-51D for Polish pilot profile - it was fixed).

I seen that you can even put weapon liveries all together with aircraft liveries in one pack. Every plane can have bombs with different painting. I haven't tested this yet. You have to speak with user name lee1hy, or see he's mods, how he is doing this. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313768/ If you have trouble to fine texture names, use ModelViever, export description.lua. It will create all needed code, and then just adjust how you like.

Hi. I made a livery for a Windsock, model name: H-Windsock_RW with a description.lua like for all other models. All is working fine in ModelViewer, even encyclopedia is showing my skin on a windsock model. When I try to use ME, in PAINT SCHEME box there is only Default. My liveries are not shown. I had this problem with some other models too. Are those models locked from using custom liveries? What I doing wrong here?

Maybe ask guys on a Russian part of forum (Google Translator). You could find real pilots answering questions there. Yes - Grach need an update and some fixes. The one I waiting most is a program mode for gunpods. Brakes? Nah... No need for brake in this bird.

It's very arcade-helpful. When you kill a unit, you get this very clear smoke ring around a unit. Not immersive at all. I would vote for nerfing this effect too.

That happened to me only once. In a tutorial mission when active pause was on. I couldn't do much about it and can't say what was a cause, for sure not controllers, mods maybe. I took it like every Russian pilot would do. Laughing at that with a little bit swearing, refreshing rain in the face and landed correctly. This is how it is Feature, not a bug.

From my experience, this is actually more helpful than centered light beam. It allows you somehow to judge the distance and speed much better. Especially in side wind landings, but how this is irl planes ? I belive you can adjust those lights by the mechanics, same like lights in a car. Would be awesome if we could adjust those too. Maybe by editing luas or as editor options. But that's a new feature request. Something like a possibility to adjust ww2 birds guns aiming point, separately for each gun. I found a Korean parade, where they went crazy putting some LEDs on Su-25 an MiGs. Hi. I made one topic about this in the past too. The problem I had, was with alternate airport priority. In a Su25 manual you can find this page bellow. Thank you for you post and lists. Those are helpful but I wonder, where we can find alternate airports lists for other terrains? This information is probably somewhere in a game files to dig out. Not provided, and so bad that when new dls terrain is coming out, has completely no documentations at all.
