Slippa is right, Try what he said and do what you find works for you. I use the Feet off the floor in the Huey because I use MFG Crosswind pedals with the full size foot rests. I use the Toe Brake when I fly Fixed Wing and feet off the floor works better for me to use toe brakes that way. Congratulation on your new Gear you're going to love them.

I like to make myself Huey missions. I only play Single Player so I find myself poking around in the M.E. (Mission Editor) I spend a crazy amount of time building a 30 min mission. I am no M.E. Pro. I have been working on a old Idea I never fallowed through with. It is a Coast Guard Mission. So I think I have spent the last 3 weeks of free time working on it(I am Retired)Tons of free time. Last night I ran the mission and for the first time it ran as it should with all triggers going off at the correct time and Flag values being correct and Randomized Events All working together at he correct times. The Mission still lacks important features like direction as in only the maker knows what to do at mission start where to go and Why. Lots of things could be added to make it way more fun like Voice overs (Not My Voice or low quality AI) Still A work in progress. 8Balls sinking ship is off shore about a mile and a half and The Coast Guard Command Needs me in the Air and on Station after waiting for a TV crew to show up that wants to do a Fallow around Video of us as a Life in the Day of the US Coast Guard. Their TV 10 Huey is late So we Take off. None of the Mission things I will now talk about have been made. Maybe a few soft missions like some kind of sling loading repair parts from a contractors field to the Coast Guard ship Oliver H. Perry then maybe a Oil rig Hurt Worker rescue to a Hospital then The main event. (This is the part that is now made and tested) The sinking Ship will start pumping out dark black smoke (Not Good) as you move to investigate it (about a mile and a half away) the TV Huey will now stop fallowing you and head for the Ship on its own and on it's preset Waypoints will orbit the Sinking ship. This is when you see the Odd events around the Ship making you question this not normal situation. There are 4 lines of Life rafts running out from the ship in a X shape could be about 40 Rafts(the Ship cant have that many people on it) Then your wondering What is in the Rafts? Are they trying to save Cargo in the rafts? This is about the time the TV Huey trips the trigger for the Speed Gun Boats hidden in the black smoke to burst out of the Smoke and start throwing lead at us. Your Door gunners need to take them out. If that happens your left to see at the end of each life raft line is the last raft with 3 people in each raft. The Ship is on fire and sinking The terrorist have chained the rafts together with fuel cells in each raft at the end of the chain is the crew members that need rescued. This is when the First Explosion goes off of the first Fuel cell in the raft chain. You must free and rescue the 3 crewmembers in this chain of fuel cells before the exploding timer gets to the last cell in the chain killing the crewmembers. The 4 Chains are on a Random Explosion and you are forced to only save the next crew raft at the end of each chain of fuel cells that will start to explode on a random time. you have to hover at the Crews Raft lower the 5 AGL Altitude in the raft zone for 30 seconds to free the crew the exploding chain will reach the crews in 45 seconds from the 1st chain explosion. It is a Challenge to get done. If you hit the Rafts with the Huey it can kill you or damage the Huey Take to long to save the crew and your forced to abandum them on live TV or Die trying. Not a lot of talking about missions people make so This is the reason for this post. please feel free to tell us what you create to play in single player Missions.

I am not a Pilot I fly the Uh-1h all the time from my start in DCS to me all the changes are in the Tail rotor and Engine and Vortex ring state. To me the Cyclic feels the same but because of the Engine changes the Collective is affected. I might be wrong but Ground effect use to be different too but for some reason I keep telling myself I don't know what I'm talking about because All my gear has changed through the years to way better gear and that is the reason I think it was different. But in the back of my head when first entering into ground effect in landing was different. The same could be said about takeoff in a rolling moving forward low to the tarmac as you first go into the lift state(can not remember the official name for it sorry) in the past didn't it take longer to get the lift? Not sure how much is right or wrong with my thinking but you asked a Good Question.

Mine pops up a window it asks me to send a log file it then shows where the log file is and tells me to go get it and send it. Odd if it has a send window and knows the place for the log file why not automatically send it in this window? if I click on Continue or Leave or Send, the game will crash. Doctor it Crashes When I do this? lol

If I go to the Mission Editor and I open any mission to work on it, During the loading screen My mouse was in the center of the screen and I left clicked on it and DCS World Crashed. I did it again and again it Crashed. 99.999% of the time I would of never clicked the mouse over this load screen but it was a accident on my part. Does this happen to you? I did a fresh install from my old Beta Version to this new Standard version. If you are on a clean install like me I would like to ask you to try this and see if the same happens to you. Just Wondering if it has been reported let me know please.

Needed a Fake TV News Station Helicopter in a Mission that needed to get shot down by terrorist at the start of a Mission Section and I only found one so in line with what my mind was thinking about I made this. It is uploading to my file area so after it is finished you can download the skin if needed.

Question, I removed one at a time Mods from a Custom SP mission to find the one locking DCS up but only on Exit of mission Back into the M.E. It turns out to be the VPC Airfield Equipment Mod I then started removing the Items used in that mod till I found the cause. The Black Ford Drivable pickup truck was set to drive the tarmac in a small oval pattern and after taking it out of the mission the problem ended. All other Items put back into the Mission and all the other Mods are back and Mission is fine as long as I do not put the Truck in the mission on a set path. The Personal in this mod do not show up with this new update something has changed with personal in this Mod. I have look but can not find a newer or updated version of this mod. I don't think there is any but if I am wrong please let me know. Any Work around for the Personal or the Truck?

Thanks To all for Your input and Advice. I Run Norton because I Disabled Windows Updates To Prevent Installs of Things I do not Need or Want and I have a HP G2 I still use However This is going to change so Again Everyone Thank You.

In SP in a custom mission I could not release my Huey Cargo last night after the update. I then discovered my Stick setup was not selected for the Huey so I had no Cargo release. The odd thing is all my other Virpil gear Collective, switch button box #1 were still loaded. With this I reloaded each one again and it worked fine. With one new BUG the Virpil Switch box #1 dial Axis I set for the Collective Throttle for the Huey (My Virpil collective is no throttle version) no longer will move the In game Throttle. It is set in DCS control axis and is seen and works but it will not work in game any more.

I have Norton set to Exclude DCS program but it still blocked DCS.EXE from accessing this windows file. In this window I had the option to excluded DCS.EXE so I did. Not sure why or if it was because of the New hot patch that I had just installed a short time before. I went back into Norton to check if the Exclusions I already setup for Both Install location and Saved Game locations were still set and they were. My thoughts are now that I have reset the Exclusion on this last Norton Security Trip it will not do it again. Giving You a Heads up on the Norton situation if it matters to anyone Customers and ED if you too use Norton Antivirus. BEFORE I excluded it in this window it read BLOCKED not Excluded

Mission editor use to let you Loop a Sound File Now that option has been removed. I have a 2 min effects Recording of a ship sinking I want to play the file as long as I am in the zone on location but now with the Loop Sound removed I'm wondering how to keep playing the file till I tell it to Stop. Please if you know the way it needs done now fill me in. Thank You Mark.

I just did some fun flying in the Huey tonight after downloading the new update, I was on the Marianas Island Map. I have a 4090 but still tonight I was shocked to be getting 60 sometimes 70 FPS DLSS on high and ultra settings most sliders at about 80% Performance on Quality in my HP G2. Looks like VR is in a Good place for me so I was wondering if others felt it was too? It made for a very enjoyable night of peeling off the rusty flying and getting back into the HU-1H again.

That's Good Advice, Sadly It was not in use, I always mark it to run as administrator in the Properties shortcut settings. How I neglected to set it up at some point in time is part of me being me at 70 years of age anymore. Thank You for the Help. It is now set.
