  2. Agreed. Not sure why any decent company would advertise a third party website (facebook) that's known for nothing but privacy violations and utilize it as some form of "home" for the product instead of going where the products customers are (here) and share news there... Or, how about this rare idea - have your *own* website for your products and provide news there - but please leave out any third party website that does nothing but steal/sell/track people's data.

  7. Thanks for the heads up; I will check the Steam VR settings as well then!
  8. Interesting. So what would prompt this to change from one day to the next while it has been perfect since I received the Reverb? Curious... Edit - just saw you edit; thanks for the additional tidbits there.
  9. So here's something I just encountered yesterday: I noticed that all of a sudden my left lens has a bright spot, but that could also mean that my right lens all of a sudden went more dim? Either way, where both lenses overlap it looks like there's a vertical area in my left eye that appears brighter than before, and it's esp. noticeable when panning my head left and right over an area. That said, has anybody experienced this? Is there a way to reset this, or could one of my lenses be faulty? I've also noticed that when DCS loads, it doesn't return back to the Steam grid to avoid flickering, but stays in DCS and flickers (and no, I didn't toggle that option off in Steam VR). I've tried the usual, went from WMR and Steam VR Betas no non-Beta, rebooted, unplugged/re-plugged the Reverb's cables, etc. Any other pointers?
  10. +1 Little tings like that rip you right out of the immersion...

    Deka Ironworks

Absolut genial ein weiteres Gen 4 Flugzeug in DCS zu haben - sieht alles prima aus. Werd's mir auch umgehend kaufen sobald es verfuegbar ist.
  12. @streakeagle - your ticket has been received and VKB HQ is on it. Just as a side note, 2x50/axis is indeed too much force on the gimbal overall - esp. with a stick extension installed. And - even though the Gunfighter Mk.II's gimbal is stronger in that aspect, I still only recommend 2x40/axis, max:
  13. +1 Looking forward to getting some insights into this HMD.
  14. All depends how much you're into the hobby and how much you're willing to spend. Over time, it surely can become a money sink. VR is certainly a game changer and I personally no longer are willing to fly DCS in 2D anymore. :)
  15. Valve Index comes to mind.
  16. But it's normal and okay, because if you turn that feature off in Steam VR, those menus make me sick to my stomach otherwise. :)
  17. Nope, shouldn't be. Haven't experienced that with neither O+ nor HP Reverb.
  18. +1
  19. That's good to know - thanks for letting us know.
  20. Cannot confirm. My new Reverb has a perfectly crisp image (coming from the O+ it's an impressive step up).
  21. That's good to hear that it works for you!
  22. Congrats! (Not sure if I can recommend this officially though due to the requirement of having to use a metal file to make it fit; here's hope that VKB HQ comes out with a dedicated "TMF18 Adapter" in the future then). Question: Did you end up using the TMW profile to get the buttons to work? Thanks.
  23. I've received my HP Reverb today, and I am impressed - it's indeed quite a step-up in terms of display clarity from the O+; some folks here likened it to looking at a monitor, and I second that notion - wow. :)
  24. Same with me - and considering how inexpensive DCS modules are compared to the other aspects of our hobby, it's a nobrainer. The fact that it's a 4th gen fighter is even more enticing and seals the deal.
  25. And this won't work in VR either, right?
