  1. Totally agree!
  2. Has this been confirmed by VKB HQ officially? Either way, fingers crossed (and let us know if it does or does not).
  3. Guess I've gotten used to that... but I know what you mean. Often times people omit the simplest grammar options such as a question mark (which makes it sound like a fact when omitted) which would make the thread title more clear. Anyway, you can mouse-hover over the thread title and it will show you the first few lines of the message so you can decided whether to read it or not. :)
  4. Ok, I finally pulled the trigger on the HP Reverb now (along with the obligatory VR Optician Prescription Lens Inserts) - cannot wait. :D
  5. Has this been fixed?
  6. How do you turn that off in Steam's WMR implementation?
  7. Usually I get a lot of 2-wires and 4-wires using ACLS myself... not perfect, but brings you down safely.
  8. @f4l0 - when can we expect SSA to support the DCS Fw-190A? Thanks.
  9. That's good to know - thank you. How do you feel about the colors going from the O+ to the Reverb?
  10. Good news - thank you!
  11. Would be nice if in the future our enhanced ATC would consider that for landings at any given runway as well - wake turbulence separation.
  12. Interesting - you'd think that ATCs are the ones that call the shots on departing AC, based on their knowledge of wake turbulence separation requirements. :) Also - what's FOB in this context? I am only familiar with FOD (Foreign Object Debris).
  13. Ah yes, that's good to know. So there's the trade-off then: More washed out colors, but greater visual quality - thank you.
  14. Thanks for the feedback so far, guys. Since nobody mentioned it - what about the shift from the O+'s AMOLED screens to LCDs in the Reverb? I believe there will be some downgrade in terms of popping color of the O+, to a more washed-out appearance in the Reverb? Or is this a non-issue?
  15. Sitting here with my mouse hovering over the HP Reverb checkout button, but still hesitating a little. Can I have some opinion of a Reverb user who switched from an Odyssey +? Was it worth it? If so, what's better? Thanks. :)
  16. Be sure to move the throttle to ground idle! Else, you're still in-flight idle, which produces a few percent-points more of thrust than ground idle and makes stopping unnecessarily harder.
  17. But sterny70 is correct - after I failed Mission 2, the whole campaign reverts back to Mission 1! It should instead continue with Mission 2 so we can try again...
  18. +1
  19. With the new revision finally available from HP directly, I am very, very tempted to pull the trigger on the Reverb right about now.
  20. Maybe the modders need up-to-date their code to keep up with DCS?
  21. Oh - misread; no there's no way just yet until ED implements something for us.
  22. +1 That's on my wishlist as well.
  23. I think about that a little differently: I am soooooo eager for more Gen 4 (or above) modules to find their way into DCS, that I will buy them regardless of their history and level of being iconic, just to get those modern avionic systems to play with. Heck, I am far more looking forward to the Super Tucano than any MiG-23 - just sayin'. That said, I would really love to see - and pay premium - for some export variants of modern (Gen 4 ++) Mig-29 or Su-27 derivatives by some capable and reliable 3rd party developer.
  24. The campaign feels very realistic in terms of mission types and procedures used, so thank you for that! Such realistic campaigns are very motivating because their missions force you to learn aspects of the DCS module (in this case, the Huey) you might not yet have mastered, which in turn makes a such campaign a great learning tool. I hope you will continue to make these detailed campaigns down the line as well.
