  1. I am very much looking forward to the Syria map. Not sure why people have a hard time giving Ugra the benefit of doubt, realizing that 3rd party devs are able to improve upon their first efforts based on "lessons learned" and apply that to their new map project? Isn't that how progress is made?
  2. This!
  3. +1 Genau so seh' ich das auch.
  4. Love my O+ as well. Coming from the Rift CV1, the improvement of display clarity and in-cockpit readability is tremendous, and so are the amazing colors Samsung's AMOLED displays provide. Granted, I had to add a third party head strap to make it more comfortable, but it's an amazing VR experience (and without facebook violating your privacy).
  5. +1 Please fix this :)
  6. Modders are on the hook to update their mods to remain compatible with DCS. If mods were abandoned long time ago, they will become obsolete unless somebody else starts to maintain them to keep them current.
  7. For my own setup (Gunfighter w/ 200mm extension and MCG Pro grip) I *still* use curves in order to get a more realistic feel of the stick response. Also, the attached guide helped on various DCS modules to improve the overall feeling on the controls (more heavy).
  8. While on the subject, will the AI's FM be tweaked to be more in-line with the player's PFMs? The new damage modeling is fine and dandy, but if the AI continues to to be able to out-maneuver the player, the player is the only one who will end up seeing his plane degraded and shot up while the AI flies rings around the player's plane... :)
  9. Same here!
  11. I own the Oculus Rift CV1 (retired) and Odyssey + (in use), wanting to buy the HP Reverb once it's a bt more mature.
  12. Well done indeed. Helps to visualize such events greatly.
  13. My thoughts as well. I am super happy with my O+ right now (w/ aftermarket head-strap and face cushion), and I certainly hope that there will be an updated Odyssey down the line that retains the amazing AMOLED displays - just some higher resolution and improved FOV.

    The Heat :(

Mustn't forget that OP is in Germany, and this is the first time in that country that they hit those high temperatures. To make things worse, usually homes in Germany do not have central heat and air, so this is quite bad as you cannot really cool down at home, either. As a German who moved to the US many years ago, having air conditioning literally everywhere here is something I take for granted now - because you can enjoy very comfortable temperatures inside your home, car, workplace, public place here regardless of how hot it gets outside.

  17. I was under the impression that ED has their own closed-beta test team as well that provides bug reports? I think that a lot of the things that we - the community - reports, is also being reported internally. Maybe ED already has a better system 'on the inside' that we're not aware of or privy to?
  18. Good to hear that Urgra is aiming to match the ED quality standard then - thanks. :)
  19. Agreed. Funnily enough, with the DCS Fw-190 A announcement trailer, they managed somehow to make the Normandy map look far better (desaturated during post processing, I know), and when I first saw the video I thought that's exactly how the Normandy map should look like...
  20. What about the other question Yurgon asked - about SpeedTree. Thanks.
  21. Mit Falcon 3.0 ging's fuer mich richtig los. Habe damals dafuer extra einen teuren Mathe Co-Prozessor installiert und meinen 486 auf satte 8MB RAM aufgeruestet!
  22. Same is true for those who keep this "issue" alive.
  23. Thanks for the heads-up, Yo-Yo!
