  1. Got nothing to add here - thanks ED for this wonderful module.
  2. Fantastic news - thanks for sharing. That's definitely a day-one purchase for me.
  3. Early access = work in progress. Over the next few months there will be a lot more updates coming to the Viper.
  4. +1 Well said; my thoughts exactly.
  5. Specifically for the Viper I use a side-mounted VKB Gunfighter MK.II w/ SCG grip - see photo. I've added a #50 spring for pitch, and a #40 spring for roll, and that gives me the heaviness for how I interpret the Viper's stick to feel - short of a force-sensing base. I don't seem to experience any deadzone issue, as the FBW PFM feels snappy enough to me. I also have a center-mounted Gunfighter w/ MCG grip and stick extension, but I don't even think of using it for the Viper, as only a short throw stick would feel right with this module.
  6. From your signature >>> Oculus Rift cv1 <<< You might have to step-up from that one to an HP Reverb or another VR HMD that offers a higher native resolution. With my Reverb, I have absolutely no problems reading anything in the Viper (as a side-note, the same is true for reading the speed gauge in the Christen Eagle II from the backseat). :)
  7. Looks fantastic (and very readable) in my HP Reverb. No complaints or issues here.
  11. +1

  13. +1 Would love to see this map as well.
  14. That's the frustrating/limiting aspect of the current situation, I agree wholeheartedly (didn't want to put it this bluntly myself earlier). I think that would be the best solution to ensure SSA support for the DCS modules we love from the start. Not sure how this was handled for the F-14, but I believe that Heatblur involved f410 early onand the results show. Would be nice if this became a standard for ED and third party devs to do this. From a module developer's perspective I would assume it's nothing more than supporting our various HOTAS systems as well...
  15. Totally agree. Deka Ironworks really has a pretty awesome module in the pipeline that I didn't expect to be such a fantastic 4th gen plane. Cannot wait! Here's hope that we will see a few more surprise fighters from them in the future!
  16. Exactly - there's no problem. Thanks ED for doing what you do.
  17. According to Yo-Yo, they visited him already a second time for that purpose: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3750208&postcount=114
  18. Same here; cannot wait!
  19. +1 Or, if the developer isn't able to create specific effects for newly released modules in a timely manner, allow us to have a generic set of effects (Props/Jets/Helos) that allow us to have at least *something* while we're waiting for the specific module to be supported. Still a little miffed that we don't have any effects for the Fw-190 Anton, even though it has been released for a while now, and equally concerned about not having any effects for the F-16 come tomorrow. Thanks.
  20. I only noticed for myself that if I didn't immediately used the Reverb, WMR nor SteamVR would not find it anymore. I looked around the Device Manager and found that my Reverb was enabled to "sleep". Once I disabled that power saving feature for the Reverb, it now works 100% - regardless of when I am going to launch VR.
  21. (probably not easily explained quickly, but this is what I am interested in reading about:) Q: How is the FBW-based PFM developed from publicly available data to something that is actually so close to reality that a Pilot/SME is able to validate it and sign off on?

    VR pilot body

+1 Since it's ED's module (not 3rd party), I would assume we'll get a pilot body for the early access launch tomorrow. Would be a shame if not...
  23. Wouldn't it be rather simply because you really, really want to fly the Viper in DCS finally?
  24. Thanks for the heads-up :)
  25. Freue mich persoenlich auf diese Loesung (wenn's dann irgendwann mal kommerziel erhaeltlich ist): https://bergisons.simpit.info/motion-integrated-g-seat
