  1. You might find my little guide useful: https://vkbcontrollers.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/Gunfighter-MkII-Quick-Guide-1.pdf (just remember there's no need to flash the firmware of a brand new Gunfighter - VKB already did that before shipping them)
  2. Thanks for sharing this, as I was wondering about it as well. That said, when I changed from the CV1 to the Odyssey+ with its AMOLED displays, I was blown away by the overall vivid colors, and more specifically, the much darker nights in comparison to the CV1 in DCS. Kinda sad to know that Oculus ran with LCD displays instead now.
  3. That's a concern of mine as well - but where did you read that it "might not happen"? Curious if there was some communication...
  4. Pre-ordered as well. Brings back all the excitement from hanging around the Falcon4 IRC channel back then... So thank you ED for the DCS: F-16C Viper!
  5. @NineLine - You have the patience of a saint; just sayin'
  6. +1 Absolutely love DCS - and the team behind it to make it a reality for us sim-nuts.
  7. Thanks for the update, Wags. Quick follow-up question: Who does the optimization for Normandy then - ED or Ugra? Thanks.
  8. Same issue for me in Open Beta.
  9. I was thinking exactly the same thing!
  10. Since ED develops their modules with publicly available sources (as mentioned by Wags many times), why can't forum users refer to these exact sources for bug reports as well then? There's no need to cite or refer to documents that go against ED's forum rules in the first place...
  11. This.
  12. I am curious about the 50% fps VR improvements coming from ED in the near future - they identified an issue with the terrain rendering and are tweaking their own maps (Caucasus, NTTR, PG) internally before we get to enjoy the benefits. So far, so good. However, given the already poor performance of the Normandy map, who is responsible of tweaking it to reach that 50% fps gain? Ugra, or ED? I personally hope the latter... does anybody have any insights?
  13. @kaltokri - danke fuer die Info! :)
  14. Wuerde ich auch gerne mal wissen.
  15. We all have AAA and GAS (GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome) - nothing to worry about; it's normal around here. ;)
  16. Thanks for the kudos, Pudu. Greatly appreciated.
  17. The ticket that Pudu opened "hasn't been forgotten in the drawer", but has been waiting for him to continue since Sun, Mar 31 2019 at 10:50 AM... usually user-abandoned tickets indicate that the issue has been resolved by the user, yet the user didn't mark the ticket as resolved. If an issues wasn't resolved, the ticket can be revisited by the user at any time to continue where we left off. Any new user action on the ticket triggers an automatic email for me to to take action as well.
  18. Just attach them here via the "Manage Attachments" option...
  19. Something that Heatblur would be more than capable of doing - a more modern European fighter for DCS. Eurofighter, Rafale or Gripen would be all high on my list.
  20. After reading "Why is this mouse so high?", my mind jumped directly to this one:
  21. Added the O+ VR Cover to my list as well. Thanks!
  22. Just to bring a conclusion to my quest for a better, more comfortable O+ experience: I've purchased the StudioForm Creative head-strap designed for WMR HMDs, and it works beautifully well with my O+. This picture shows it installed, and I was glad to remove my green elastic band for it. :) It's a 100% improvement over the standard O+, and thus highly recommended for anyone who struggles with that forehead pain.
  23. Seen this as well. Continues after landing with engine/ignition off.
