  1. Would also like to say a big thank you for all the hard work! Before this project came about I was never a particularly huge fan of the 21, however was very interested to see how the simulation of it would be. After spending a few hours with her today I can say without question I am blown away. This plane is an absolute joy to fly and the level of detail you guys have poured into both the simulation itself and the aesthetics is mind blowing. Pretty sure the 21 is going to now sit on an equal footing with the A-10C as my favourite aircraft in DCS. Thank you again!
  2. Fantastic thanks a lot guys
  3. Just purchased, great job guys, very excited for the 18th now
  4. Awesome work guys! Will be counting the hours!
  5. Tutorials, manual, youtube videos, then pick one aspect, practice it and drill it until it becomes comfortable for you. Slowly combine different disciplines together until you are competent enough to fly various missions without having to look things up or make obvious mistakes etc. Can also recommend Sabre's missions, absolutely fantastic quality.
  6. Just dropped past this thread the other day and was sad to see it wouldn't work with 1.2.8, so VERY happy to see it now does! Many thanks for this one Devrim
  7. Great glad you got it sorted
  8. That is the issue, the original rar isn't set up for JSGME by default, the RAE_MOD folder shouldn't be in your DCS installation. The contents of it "Mods" and "Sounds" should be however. To use it with JSGME, you would need to: (I don't use JSGME personally so I hope this is correct) 1: Navigate to your JSGME _MODS folder 2: Open the RAE mod rar file you downloaded and navigate (inside the rar) to the RAE_MOD folder. 3: Drag that RAE_MOD folder into your JSGME _MODS folder. 4: Activate it with JSGME So your final file paths should look like _MODS\RAE_MOD\Mods _MODS\RAE_MOD\Sounds Alternatively manually you can do it as follows:
  9. Sounds great, Will give this a go for sure, thanks
  10. Just wanted to say fantastic mission & many thanks!! Had a load of fun and the immersion with the actual mission design/tasking and VO work was top-notch. Flew it the first time today solo in SP, received and completed 3 tasks (1: Assist unit under heavy enemy fire - 2: Take out high value target at an airfield protected by an SA-13 and AAA - 3: Escort convoy from FOB and assist en-route) before my time on station was up and AWACS released me to RTB. Very much looking forward to playing it again and see what other tasks are in store for me :) Thanks again!!
  11. Many thanks Eddie hugely appreciated! Updated the original post with your mirrors.
  12. Many thanks for these Paul, they look fantastic!
  13. Perfect, that works a treat. Many thanks Eddie.
  14. You can fix that if you don't mind voiding your warranty on them > http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=73311 Also another +1 for the Saitek pedals. Also own the standard (non combat) version and they have been great, had them about a year and no issues at all. Did the centre detent mod I linked to above and also replaced the spring with some heavy duty rubber bands instead which makes them very smooth around the centre point. The mod is only really essential for helo's in all honesty, you probably would't need it for jets, but none the less is nice to have them %100 smooth through the entire motion. For the price you really can't go wrong anyway, I believe they are still the cheapest rudder pedals on the market and surprisingly sturdy and capable even at the price.
  15. Fantastic news! Really looking forward to it :)
  16. Just wondered if it's possible to create separate named profiles for two variants of Mavericks in the DSMS? For example I have 65-D's on station 3 and 65-H's on station 9 can I create a new profile titled "65-D" that only selects station 3 and a profile called 65-H that only selects station 9? Instead of just one generic profile that encompasses both? I can't seem to figure out if there is a way to separate them, I can cycle between station 3 and 9 dms l/r and see the station switch in the DSMS profile page but I can't seem to create a new profile for each. EDIT: Ok figured it out, but can only do so if I first change something like min altitude, then save the new profile, then reset min altitude back again. EDIT 2: Actually maybe not, the stations seem to have switched and both profiles are using station 3 now..
  17. Thanks for the update! Has rapidly become an essential mod for me.
  18. If you really don't want the Russian aircraft then just get the F-15C now and I would save your coupon for when one of the new higher priced modules come out. As tsumikae said though why don't you want to fly them? The SU-33/SU-27/SU-25T and -A variant are all fun as hell to fly.
  19. Finally got around to flying this mission and had an absolute blast with it!! Huge thank you for creating it. Flew it solo with an RTB to re-arm and refuel between tasks 1 & 2 (also a repair..CICU took a hit). The voice acting is spot on and the entire mission was incredibly atmospheric. Thanks again!
  20. Just finished the campaign and wanted to say thank you for a great experience! :) Flew it in SP and had a blast! Now moving on to Operation Jackal. Hope to see more missions & campaigns from you soon!
  21. Thanks very much guys :) Glad you found it useful. (also glad it's still working lol)
  22. Thanks for the vid Ralfi! Sorry to all for the absence, day-job has been kind of hectic. Haven't had a chance to test if all is fine with 1.2.7 but hopefully nothing has changed. Let me know if anything needs updating and I will get it fixed.
  23. Hopefully it will be fixed at some point. It's the only jet that currently has this issue. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113302
  24. As far as I remember you don't need to use the DLL's from the FTNIR site. Those are for pre-DCS World when A-10C etc. was standalone. Just remove any you have copied across, set FTNIR to use the FreeTrack 2.0 protocol and it will work.
  25. Alongside what Thick8 suggested you need to adjust the threshold settings. Point Tracker > Settings > Camera Tab > Threshold slider. Reduce the threshold until the points register as smaller dots which don't intersect, the tracker will then be able to pick them up properly. If you can't get a good threshold level then you will definitely need a visible light filter as Thick8 suggested. As well as floppy disc you can use developed film negatives as well (the black frames at the end of the negative strips work). I have exactly the same setup as you, PS3 Eye cam, Track Clip Pro, FaceTrackNoIR and it works flawlessly. The only difference between this kind of setup and Track IR in my opinion is A: the price and B: the amount of effort you are willing to put in to tweaking it a bit until it's perfect. If you don't have the patience and you have money to burn then yes, TrackIR is the best option. EDIT: Attached my Profile if its any help: http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=87693&d=1379004732 Also here is every screen of my setup if it helps also. http://imgur.com/a/C4Ow7
