It’s a game. I don’t give a rip what others do. It looks like it will assist me due to vision limitations of me and my choice of systems as well as others with same situation. Like I said (perhaps read it again?) It should be an option, completely agree! I’m not the one calling it a cheat. I’m simply amused at why some object to it being an option. I think I know the answer but want to see if someone has the honesty to answer...

Agreed on the option button. Simple solution but riddle me this. If I use it and you don’t , HOW does this affect you? (Simply cheating isn’t an answer as it suggests a competitive advantage.) What part of someone else using it effects you assuming it’s optional? What am I missing? Regards

I was being a Tongue in cheek asshat but in reality, I went thru the same rubric so my apologies. I’m a touch bipolar and get “that way” from time to time. Thanks for the props. Love to take credit for the idea but I saw something similar on the web. If I was to do it again, I would probably go transverse with the whole thing opening down and me flying in a seat facing the box as opposed to sitting in it. I take an ass beating from the wife and kids every time I go to “sit in my box”. Oh well. Regards!!

Flew several missions last night F14 in 2.5.6 in the acrobatics server. First worked really well. Startup, taxi takeoff and formation flying was really clear and smooth except an occasional stutter out of nowhere then back to normal. Stopped for dinner than went back after it. Tried SP refueling training and seemed ok. Slide show When I went back to same Aerobatics MP server. Turned it off and went to bed. Wanted to see if a reboot helped but didn’t want to deal with the 10 min start up! Is there a hot start option for aerobatics server in OB? If not there should be. Edit. This was trying stream ss at 350. Dcs pd .7 btw. Originally had stream ss 75. Dcs pd 8.

Yep, Interacting with coms Menu in general Is a huge weak spot. Sucks trying to communicate with tanker crew and not collide as well. Would love to see some kind of plan. Would even be nice if the mouse clicking of the menue worked all the time. Would at least help.

I Finally got back to flying after an almost 2 month coronavirus hiatus (aka my daughter moved back into my cockpit) Anyway, stayed in 2.5.5 and tried the thing where I cranked in game pd down to .8 and stream up to 360. 90 fps at 90mhz all day in SP and 45-60 in MP. Was in Just Dogfight all day and not only did frames hold but looked really good in F14. Next stop, back to 2.5.6 to see if it helped. Couldn’t hardly play it before. Let ya know what happens.

Maybe I’m “missing the boat” but other than a few more scripted lines of text, not seeing a major revelation in ATC. Obviously still a carrier noob but I am still required (unless I use some aftermarket add on ) to take my eyes and hand off a control at the most critical times to find and press F keys and navigate a cmos style menu. Gotta be a better way! (Says the non programmer guy :))

No, the last several pages were complaints about who was a beta tester and how unprofessional the videos looked. Naming certain groups and individuals in particular as well as an overall complaint about how the process was moving along. Thirty bucks doesn’t give you or anybody else the right to dictate terms as to how these guys do their business. Exactly who should they have gotten to test the damage model and “what happens when 10 casual non digital flight academy pilots” try to have a good time?
