Both are modeled as you mentioned, excessive EGT's & flying in dust without dust protectors. ( try to hover in a dust cloud and see how long it takes to destroy an engine, took less than 15min when i tried :D ) and obviously anti-ice in sub-zero temps is necessary.

Bit weird that re-binding pause don't work either.. Try to bind the pause function to a joystick button. Otherwise a cheap usb keyboard should get you out of trouble.

Definitely sounds like your anti-ice wasn't on.. Have you got a trk file? Post it if you can.. :)

Try opening in Windows Word or Wordpad.;) *edit- u need WinRar to extract the *.dot file. I also tried some of the nvidia setting... Got some more fps with better quality too.. :thumbup: Thx Frazer

Quite wrong. :) Plenty of people don't use the X52 including myself and we fly just fine. ;) Better to say you recommend the X52.:thumbup: After all the stick is only ever as good as the pilot holding it..:P

Hey Dragon, just did a test where i made a fresh USA FARP, put down one M818.. I got ground power no problem.. ;) Maybe your M818 was too far from the KA50?

Prophet, after watching the track file I observed the following. The second hind that you hit did kill the pilot, the hind itself was still flying as per it's previous flight path before the vikhr hit.. Seen this lots and can even happen to yourself where the pilot(yourself) is killed but the KA50 fly's along it's route like nothing happened. :) As for the hind flying through the mountains.. bug is all i can say.. This isn't a common occurrence, i have seen many AI helo still fly with no pilot but they do exploded on impact with the ground..

I will add one more thing.. You engage Alt hold while you are gaining alt at 5 m/s.. and also did not release it while trying to descend to the arrived airfield. The alt hold has about 20% authority, u want to be around 0m/s vertical speed before engaging Alt hold, which will then keep you at that alt. Switch it off when trying to descend alt or the AP will use it's 20% authority to fight you and your collective inputs..

You are suggesting nobody will join a public server because they can't use there weapons mods..? That is ridiculous I use plenty of mods too and so do plenty of people who join the server, that's no problem. I don't think weapons mods are fair on anyone, maybe we can make the B52 flyable with nuclear warheads too..

Hey Guys, Since the 1.0.1 patch I haven't had any problems with players entering my server with weapons mods, until today. See pic. Apparently KH-29 on the inner pylons... Im using Servman V2 Alpha4.. Has anyone else seen weapons mods with MP 1.0.1? Do I need to setup my server to cross check more dcs files/lua?

Yup, had one helo on ID#1 Com & the other on ID#2 wing.. no difference.. :cry: Ah!! just had a brainwave..:smartass: Maybe sending a DL to one flight member will spark up the RMI..!? Will test... :)

Ok got it working.. Thx guys.. I gather this does not work in MP between players as u cant send radio messages to each other?

Hello All, According to the manual: My question is how do you transmit the radio signal? I can't figure out how this works. I have set up 2 x helo on a LAN, both had the ARK-22 slaved to the R-800, same freq but the RMI needle don't move.. :huh: Any ideas what i'm doing wrong?
