Because this is how you slave the shkval to a DL tgt. ;)

Simple... 1. Press tgt type on DL panel.. (blue icon will flash on ABRIS) 2. Press Ingress button on DL panel. 3. Press "O" key to uncage shkval. The shkval will slew to the DL tgt.

With the new trim method, if you don't center your cyclic and rudder after trim you can experience lock out (cyclic & rudder don't respond) . Sounds like this is happening to you.. If you think you are centering the cyclic and rudder after trim try increasing the dead zones on your 3 x flight axis...(cyclic x,y & rudder)

^Interesting... Just finished reading Ed Macy's Hellfire, he says the FCR target icon for a camel is classified..:huh: My best guess is that the FCR thinks a camel is a AA gun.. :smartass: or am I silly?:P

It shouldn't matter whether the target is moving or stationary, if you can't lock the target you are most likely too far from the target. Do you remember the distance you were at when you were trying to lock it up?

SoundDurationTable.lua disappeared after the 1.01 patch... AFAIK mods should still work.

The shkval is able to auto slew to a received DL. When you have the target icon on the ABRIS you simply: * press the target type on top row of DL panel ( icon should flash in ABRIS) * Press the ingress button on DL panel (bottom row) * Press "O" on keyboard to uncage shkval and the shkval will auto slew right onto the DL target. Combine this with the "Turn to Target" function and Mr Heli will line you with target also.. ;)

Eddie is right, you will find the prepare mission in the Flight Tab at the top of ME. That will throw you into the cockpit and whatever flight plans you make there will be saved to ABRIS DB..

There is indeed, found in ME in the Flight tab up top.. Although most people do use FRAPS.

Trim works regardless of AP's... Trimming without heading AP 'feels' like trim don't work cauz you don't have the 20% authority of the AP helping you.. I personally do prefer to turn off the heading AP when i need to yaw quickly when in hover, you just need to be more vigilant when trimming..

Hey Guys, Question.. is it possible for the external fuel pumps (inner/outer pylons) to pump fuel into the fwd/aft tanks? I ask because i am currently flying on my server (AP's a great thing:D) with two tanks on the inner pylons, all fuel pumps are off except the ext inner pump. I started the mission with 25% fuel (180kg) in the internal tanks, been flying for about 10 minutes straight and level and now have 350kg fuel in the internal pumps...been watching the fuel gauge creep. :P Is this supposed to happen?

Yes the rotor dynamics are correct, all to do with advancing/retreating blades and the difference in the lift generated. Even in a conventional chopper (tail rotor) left or right cyclic input (depending on the aircraft) is needed for straight flight at speed.

All normal characteristics of the KA50, tho resetting trim during flight is a big no no.

Was this an isolated incident or do you have this problem alot? Laser burn out maybe if it was an isolated incident. Post a trk file of the mission, easiest way to sort out the prob.
