  1. Dont know why are you telling me this, i know what DLSS is, you are talking about DLSS and that you disable MR, thats why im telling you no VR game supports Frame Generation, if you was talking about DLSS as a suite, there are VR games that support the upscale and im pretty sure you already know this, MSFS works well apart from the screens (that its reported it works a "bit" different from other games and thats what are causing problems), on No mans sky works great and i dont test it on War Thunder
  2. As far i know there’s no VR game supporting Frame Generation, on MSFS it only works on 2D but not on VR
  3. While i think DLSS should be there as it has been shown officially a year ago, i dont expect Vulkan right now but, hey, i like surprises...
  4. Then, probably, it’s just that the refresh rate on the TrackIR software it’s just 30hz, it doesn’t have to affect to how it works, the TIR camera refresh is 120hz, at least on 5 version The preferred target fps for not getting stutter is 30/40/60/80/120 fps
  5. You are using an nVidia GPU, check the nVidia Control Panel, theres an option to limit the background apps FPS and its default to 30 fps, disable or increase the limit
  6. This, for god sake!
  7. As i said, is an addon to add some features and tweak settings of OpenXR games, obviously if you doesnt install the Toolkit you cant change it or use the added features
  8. DLSS rely on motion vectors that has to be feeded from the game engine to work, isnt a thing that you can activate globally
  9. I would love an update on DLSS as theres have been many patch since SSAA doesnt work as it was necessary step to take for something, we are seeing videos with working DLSS from the end of last year...
  10. Its not a headset per se limitation, its just low resolution, the only way you can fix that is going high (very high) on supersampling. Antialising technices are made for this, the problem is the one on DCS its an old not very efective technique but ED is working on implementing new methods
  11. I think theres still not enough guys posting their screenshot of the error, i hope more people keep posting it! Seriously guys...
  12. I hate when someone talk as his opinion represents all the community...
  13. FC3 aircraft are far from anything called "fidelity"
  14. Selected options are stored on files (like graphics options stored on options.lua), updater just has to check that file a do what is set on it, thats exactly how actual module manager works. Making the default option not download adittional liveries would fix the problem before the first run
  15. Your the FPS render time you get two values, CPU frametime and GPU frametime, if you have a CPU frametime of 5ms and GPU frametime of 10ms your max FPS is 100 (1000ms from a secon / 10ms your GPU need to render the frame), the higher frametime of both dictates the FPS of your system, in this case you are GPU bound (as you should be). I think, for theorically fps the FPS counter takes the lower frametime of both and do the maths based on that, on the above example, your CPU frametime would deliver a max of 200 fps (1000 / 5) if you would have a power enough GPU
  16. Non FBW vs FBW aircraft, pretty big difference
  17. They added OpenXR months ago, then MultiThreading, DLSS and Vulkan support incoming, they are fixing bugs continuosly... It looks to me they are working hard on performance and bug fixes to be honest
  18. This, just tried and please, include the Ultra option, looks superb on cockpit!
  19. It looks like the real problem here is people having the right to choose between Open Beta and Stable when it shouldnt...
  20. I, seriously, dont know what OP want to achieve to be honest: He complain about the lack of stable updates over the lasts months He is told that Stable its no more than the last Open Beta at the moment of the Stable is released He tells he would be happy if ED release the last Open Beta as Stable He is told that he can do whenever he want He still complain about why its not ED the one that do that Well, obviously not all Open Beta gets released as stable, in fact theres a bunch of OB released every Stable one, if ED change this way of work: If ED deprecated OB and released only Stable when they think is good enough, people will complain by the lack of updates If ED deprecated OB and released all OB versions as Stable people will complain by all the bug that gets released If ED deprecated Stable and release only OB like a game in Early Access, people will complain So now you have the option of getting the OB or Stable way, can change between both, no problem, and you are not working as free beta tester as OB is optional, if people made the OB the most used one above the Stable thats not on ED side, thats user decision as we are so impatients we want the new funtionalities asap, many games has and stable and a beta release, including that civ sim, as far as we have the option to change i think its fine. DCS its a monster with many third party modules that sometimes get broken when something is change at the core
  21. To be honest, its stated in red letters on the shop page of Normandy 2 terrain what version at least you need to run it, 2.8.4, Stable is still in 2.8.1
  22. Well, now VR Mask is not inverted, not, at least to me, it just doesnt work, no matter if option is checked or not
