assuming you reinstalled it on a hard drive, did you first run chkdisk and defrag before you reinstalled, and then another defrag pass after?

I think fc3 is standalone now, you just need DCS:world installed, then you can install fc3, if im not mistaken.

I would recomend keeping AF to at least x8 this isn't myopia simulator 2014 after all. Also I always assumed DCS did not affect its own AF, I thought, it had to be enabled manually by the user.

It enabled the terrain from the original lomac to be used within DCS 'pre world'. I don't remember the author, or the name. Any one know what I'm talking about, or better yet where I might find it?

Wattage wouldn't be the issue here so much as age. Consider how many hours of use it has. Maybe you just need to blow out some dust?

So this was the first time it happened I assume? Could be a lot of things, most likely hardware related though. The last time my PC randomly shut down when I was taxing it periodically for about 2 weeks, then my power supply unit went out, just something to consider. Also could be caused by overheating, usually get a BSOD with that
