  1. Stay below 250kph if you can. Above that NEVER user Left Cyclic or Right rudder and be very very gentle with the controls.. If you hear the Vmax warning tone, drop your collective and slow down immediately to avoid intersection of the blades. The Disc made by the rotors have a portion advancing into the oncoming air and another retreating. This causes more lift on one side of the disc than the other. Because the Ka-50 blades spin in opposite directions, the advancing side of the discs cause the blades to get closer together on the right side of the aircraft. The top Disc will produce more lift on the left side (lowering the right side) and the bottom disc produces more lift on the right side (raising the right side into the lower right side of the top disc. The faster you go the more they close. Nate
  2. I don't think they did say that. Nate
  3. See my sig for 32bit system problems. A 64Bit OS is HIGHLY recommended. Nate
  4. It is the Mini-HUD feature of Lock ON. Set in the options. Nate
  5. Ivan you are saying the same thing with different terminology, what Viper is saying is that the Ground Crew amount addition is not modelled, deliberately. It is a design choice rather than a bug, not one I agree with. I have asked for it to be changed, time will tell if it will be. Nate
  6. Interesting - you have documentation for this? I'd suspect powered down avionics myself. Nate
  7. Where is everybody getting the idea that things have changed in this regard? Nate
  8. UBI own the rights to the Lock On intellectual property. They have stipulated that ED build in the requirement for LOMAC in order for ED sell the FC3 addon. Nate
  9. Reinstall it (Just to be sure it is installed ok) and then try to fly. It will prompt for an FC3 key as it tries to enter the sim. Also be sure that your DCS World version is the latest version, before installing FC3. Nate
  10. You misunderstand - it isn't correctly installed and activated on your computer. When it is you get the cockpits. Nate
  11. FC3 is not installed/activated at this point, even though it might appear like it is. DCS:-World without any modules will behave the same way. All Flyables are selectable but will appear without cockpits until the module is installed and activated. You will be prompted for the FC3 serial when entering a mission, after it has been installed correctly. Nate
  12. Viper, one for the list, there seems to be a major issue with FFB for G940 owners. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96846 Nate
  13. Don't worry I reported this the last time we spoke about it Ivan. It is known, but as ever, that does not mean it will be fixed. Nate
  14. I'm fairly certain that removing lateral movement depending on view rotation would be nearly impossible to achieve. This is quite likely the reason it was left out, as holes in the model couldn't be hidden. Apologies I can offer no guidance, I can't remember the correct syntax, nor the values that might work. Nate
  15. No new AFM for FC3 - this was never even hinted at as feature. SFM does not support Brake axis. Nate
  16. I had asked for it previously, seems it was a concious decision not to use the limited 6Dof on the non 3d pits. Nate
  17. IIRC the F-16 is being worked on, not sure if it is a Professional module or an amateur mod though. Nate
  18. I see no cockpit. Also, you can fly it in DCS now if you like. Nate
  19. Are you sure you aren't supersonic? Nate
  20. You will not have FC3 cockpits until FC3 is installed and activated properly. Nate
  21. Never heard of it. Nate
  22. Depends on the target size. But 100miles is a stretch, it might be possible using the radars frequency attenuation for target aspect. If the target is flying toward you and you are using the HI setting you may see it. Nate
  23. RWS not RWR. RWS = Range while Scan mode for the radar. Nate
  24. I have to admit I'd love a DCS Su-27 Nate
