I'll give one example, previously waypoints were read at mission start. Now they are Dynamic and have to be transmitted over the network. This communication needs to be tested and verified as functioning correctly. This happens for most new features.
So for every function added most of them need corresponding net code and lots of testing.

There is no right or wrong, it is purely personal preference of the flyer. Unless you have a stick with the throw of the real Mustangs stick, it can't be defined as anything approaching "Realistic"
Nate
I believe it is because developing for the old engine is very difficult with the rather rudimentary tools available. Supposedly a proper SDK is being developed alongside EDGE, to vastly improve this situation.
Nate
Not sure what is going on there, but I have checked it in my 1.2.3 test version and I can enter those units and perform the JTAC role in Multiplayer.

Release dates should never be given no matter how often they are asked for. Yet they'd still catch flak for not giving them too. Seems you can't satisfy everybody's sense of entitlement.
Who has been discourteous to you?
Nate
If the Shells are not in the camera FOV they won't have an impact on FPS. A simple experiment would be to remove the Shell model and retest. I've no idea what that model is called however.
Nate
Problem is that the FPS drop still happens even if the shells are not in view, this leads me to doubt they are the main cause.
Sit in Cockpit at 20000ft over the sea and start firing, no shells in view yet the FPS plummets.
