  1. Pass from me, and personally I think there should be an option to restrict the more imaginative loadouts like more than four bombs or the rockets.
  2. Great photos, Maestro! Do you know if it would be possible to include a template mission with the aircraft/SAM/object placement for users who purchase the map? That would save a lot of time for mission making!
  3. Last month NineLine had said on reddit that they shipping a fix to the wind one soon, looks like it made it to the last patch then.
  4. OverStratos on the RAZBAM Discord server on 22/5/2020.
  5. One more vote for Skynet IADS, it's the make-or-break of conventional combat missions set after the Korean War for me.
  6. Two things that help a lot in the F-5 for me: using the thumb switch to avoid manoeuvre flaps deploying when you're trying to unload and accelerate, and using the rudder with centred aileron to roll at low speed/high AoA. While it's a jet that makes it difficult to have the initiative throughout the fight, it is one of the best at turning the tables.
  7. They are going to add a few options to represent field modifications available to customers, so you'll be able to fly with either SPO-10 or SPO-15, and the option to mount or not the countermeasures.
  8. Does anybody know the rough location or coordinates of Iranian or Emirati bombing ranges within the Persian Gulf map? I know there are a few bombing targets south of Al Dhafra Air Base (24°04'29.0"N 54°32'58.8"E), but what else is known?
  9. Great choice of liveries, can't wait to see the end result!
  10. I'd love an F-5E-1, much more than the -3, particularly if it would be one of the variants with the refuelling probe and VOR/ILS. There are some differences beyond the smaller LERX, lack of shark nose and automatic flaps. The radar worked similarly to the MiG-21bis' RP-22 in the sense that it could only lock targets along the jet's longitudinal axis. In terms of handling, weight distribution of different avionics might play a role, and depending on which variant you choose there may be further changes due to the long vertical stabiliser root (as seen in the F-5E-1 operated by Brazil, Chile, Indonesia Kenya, Morocco, Mexico and Tunisia), and the cockpit arrangement would be different as almost all operators changed the order of some instruments around.
  11. Cool, thanks! Here's three tracks, with the timestamps in the file name because I couldn't figure out a better way to do it. If you need more testing, let me know, I never turn down a good excuse to fly the MiG-21. The oscillations are more evident in the Tacview 'cockpit' view. 12. I'll get some tracks once I fly again, would Tacview be of any help in the meantime? From my observations, it appears the SAU is mistiming the pitch commands in both recovery and automatic landing modes. To replicate: Recovery: At any of the permissible SAU engagement altitude/speed ranges, establish zero acceleration and engage the SAU. Initially the aircraft remains stable, before gradually worsening a porpoise behaviour. The behaviour is more aggressive if the SAU stabilisation mode is active when recovery is pressed. From my limited observation, it does not exceed the angle of attack/airspeed limitations nor result in loss of altitude, but never actually reaches stable level flight. Automatic landing: Intercept the glideslope and localiser, establish a stable approach with both needles aligned then engage the automatic landing mode. Just like in the recovery mode, the oscillations will begin, except these are more pronounced in the landing mode and if left unattended the aircraft will crash.
  13. Playing on version 2.5.6.50321. After 101 and 102 successfully deploy their first load of troops, they attempt to land on the second LZ but both cannot brake and slide to the bottom of the valley before sinking through the terrain and disappearing. Shortly after, the escorts fall through the terrain as well and after enough time 101/102 sink so much that it triggers a mission failure. I have attached a Tacview, the problems begin at 36 minutes. 14. Issue: Warning lights are very dim in daylight conditions, even with the brightness knob turned all the way up. Likely cause: Change in lighting on update 2.5.6.45317 Open Beta. Images illustrating problem: Current build Previous build:
  15. After learning the Mi-8 from scratch last month, here are some photos of the 20 happy hours spent doing so.
  16. Are we going to have the option to remove the TCS on the F-14A? I have some casbahs to rock.
  17. This one over here. We have Iran on the Persian Gulf map, it would be criminal to not have its prime interceptor in game.
