  1. Can't help you on that one, I'll give it a go myself and see if I have better luck. I do remember a pilot of a different platform saying that this method of coordinate-based bombing isn't exactly loved in real applications because unless you have someone giving you an exact target position to the last metre, the bombs won't be accurate, and the fact that it uses two systems that are prone to errors (CCRP and INS) makes it impractical unless you're saturating a large area or target. EDIT: Tried it in the Mirage 2000, I think I cracked it. The INS we use is accurate to a pretty decent extent, and it accepts decimal inputs for for distance and heading. However, our blessed little Mission Editor doesn't do decimals for degrees and the INS only takes two decimals for distance! I flew four attacks, two with Mk 82 and two with Snakeyes. In all of them, the target according to the INS was within 1000ft to either side of the intended target, but that's way too far for small bombs to still have an effect. Not sure if there's a way to get the decimals out of the heading properly. Has anyone tried it with coordinates instead of rho/theta?
  2. The A-6 has my vote but from the Swedish arsenal it'd have to be the Draken. Quirky, something new, served with Finland which also has the MiG-21bis in game, and it looks absolutely stunning.
  3. Beautiful work, well done!

  6. You're in luck! From the first post:
  7. My thoughts as well. Ideally it would be optional somehow (maybe two versions of the map to pick in the Mission Editor?) but without Mt. Pleasant it'd be very hard to land high-performance aircraft anywhere outside of mainland Argentina.
  8. Fantastic video, Texac! Lovely shots, particularly the live fire ones.

  10. From the more apparent ones, the Mirage HUD brightness can now be controlled, the Harrier RWR got a few fixes, and the Harrier display now isn't erroneously showing coloured feedback.
  11. See the bottom: "Last edited by CptSmiley; 09-24-2018 at 05:18 PM." They edit that post regularly as fixes and features become ready, it's worth checking on it every now and then to get an idea of what to expect.
  12. Resized it for you :) There also seems to be a problem with the RWR power button, when assigned to a keybinding.
  13. I'm down for any Mirage III variant. My favourite is Mirage IIIE family, but the Mirage IIIC line would also be fantastic.
  14. It's not a hard deck violation if nobody sees it!
  15. The IIAF was cleared to order and receive the AIM-7F, but they opted for the Phoenix as they felt it was a better solution.
  16. From what I know Iran simply didn't order any AIM-7Fs to use with their Tomcats, and instead loaded them with missiles they already owned for the Phantom during wartime. The original order only included Phoenix missiles.
  17. Looks about right to me.
  18. A couple of fun toys for the Mirage III: Matra TK-500 drop-tanks (tank + 4 bombs) Matra JL-100 (tank + rockets)
  19. I'm not entirely sure, but the difference between the F-5 and the F-86 might be because the F-5 has two mostly independent armament circuits, one for the underwing and centerline pylons, another for the wingtip pylons and guns. If the Saber only arms guns, it would explain why there's no tone.
  20. The program you're looking for is called 'Tacview', and there's a free version with all the functions you'll need in the beginning at least. I haven't honed my MiG skills to their finest yet, but what I did notice in both flying it and fighting against it is to keep your speed and under (almost) no circumstances pull too much on the stick during a turn. Like any delta design, that'll make your whole wing an airbrake and leave you out of options. The supersonic hit and run seems to be the best option, but if things develop into a knife fight the R-60 family has very short minimum range and turns on a dime so use that to your favour.
  21. To those who voted no, go on YouTube, search for Wings Over Vietnam AFAC. The Skymaster is a phenomenal plane for observation and light attack, while also filling in the role of civvy utility.
  22. Good stuff Blinxis!
  23. That looks really nice!
  24. True for instant missions and airquake, maybe true for simpler campaigns and missions, absolutely untrue for well-made campaigns like baltic_dragon's. There probably will be some kind of interfacing where you can tell JESTER to push button X or dial in the frequency yourself. I hope there will be some automated calls though - much like proximity triggers take-off or landing clearance messages from the tower, it would be great if JESTER could request those and call the ball with the proper state.
